Historical Home in Edenton

The home is located within the historic district and was built in 1906. It is within easy walking distance of Edenton Bay and historical sites. If historical tourism isn’t your thing, you can enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, summer league baseball, birdwatching, canoeing, and kayaking. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house (2 bedrooms 1 ½ baths) except the downstairs master suite. The master suite is used by the owner when visitors are not present.

Enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming at our shared park on the Albermarle Sound. Swim in our community pool and then end your day at a cozy campfire. The outside may look rough, but the inside has been refreshed with some modern touches in mind! As this is a 100+ year old house expect wear and tear on many things so bear with us! The Trestle House is named after the railroad trestles that serve as the beams in the ceilings of the first floor and basement. The stone fireplaces and original wooden floors all combine to give the house its beautiful, unique character. The wraparound deck gives magnificent views of the pond and yard, often with the wildlife that share the home with guests. There is plenty of room for everyone, with five bedrooms, each with their own bath.
