The Red Door has been freshly renovated to provide a relaxing, comfortable and private space. A fully self contained guest suite at the rear of my Victorian Cottage which is situated on the beautiful Levan River. It is only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the town and wharf precinct. A homely breakfast is prepared for you to enjoy in the dining room. Off street parking provided. Only a twenty minute pleasant drive from The Spirit of Tasmania and just over an hour from Cradle Mountain.

Riverside Gardens at Acacia Hills

On the bank of the Don River, just 15 minutes from Devonport, the two bedroom unit attached to our home has a private entrance, two queen beds and extra single bed and cot available on request. If reserving for 1 or 2 guests, only one bedroom will be accessible unless communicated at the time of booking. The unit has fridge, microwave, coffee machine and dining setting. BBQ in the undercover courtyard for guests. Continental breakfast included. There is no kitchen sink so we do the dishes!

The nearby walking/bike path leads westward to the wharf precinct where you can take a Leven River tour or enjoy ‘Live at the Wharf’ at Gnomon Pavilion for an entertaining Friday evening, Pier 01 offers fine food and dining or visit the Sunday market to stock up on produce. Take the path eastward to the famous Turners Beach Berry Patch for a taste of local fruits and great coffee and wine.

Staying in my apartment you will enjoy a quiet and very comfortable experience. You will appreciate the convenience of a 3 minute drive to the "Spirit of Tasmania" ferry service, a short 10 minute drive from Devonport Airport & 6 minute drive to Devonport CBD, Beaches, Cafes & Restaurants. There's easy access to cycling and walking tracks. Tourist destinations such as Sheffield, Lake Barrington, Mt. Rolland, Cradle Mountain, Stanley & Boat Harbour Beach are within a 30 min to 1.5 hour drive.

Separate from the main house our studio has a double bedroom, full kitchen, living space, bathroom & laundry. The studio looks out over our garden and courtyard, which can be used by guests. Please note our garden is also enjoyed by our young children. Located a short 10 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry, perfect for those early morning sails or late arrivals. A short walk to the Bluff area (15 mins) or to shops and cafes including Hill Street Grocer (10 mins).
