Welcome to our cozy mountain cabin close by to Norris Lake, Cumberland Gap, and LMU. It’s a peaceful spot to relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors, whether you’re here for adventure or downtime. The road up is a bit bumpy, a 4WD is recommended but we drive with our 2WD and it does the job. There are two other cabins on the land, and we live in one—so if you need anything during your stay, we’re happy to help! There is also a gentle slope to the lake, No Steps!! Or you can use the graveled driveway that takes you right to the dock. Not too many homes on Norris Lake have such easy access to the lake. This is our home away from home and if you decide to stay at Lake Effect, we hope you love it as much as we do.
