Need a Place to unwind and relax? Disconnect. No houses in sight of our Waldo Cabin. Walk down a shady lane to Talladega Creek where you can enjoy wading or fishing. The historic Waldo Covered Bridge is just below the cabin spanning the creek. Prospectors pan for gold in the creek. The farm is 20 acres of trees and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in AL is just up the road. Pinhoti Trail is 2 miles away. Chief Ladiga biking trail is nearby.

This is a great lake retreat that offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that sleeps 10 comfortably with 2 living areas. On the main level is 2 bedrooms and a full bath with a family room for the kids or guests and a covered patio. On the upper level is a master bedroom and bathroom with an open kitchen and family room with exposed beams. The family room has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the lake. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.
