This newly renovated heritage listed Cottage in the heart of Casterton was built in the late 1890’s with further extension added in the 1930’s. Whilst preserving its beautiful features from the Victorian and Art deco eras, this artist cottage has been restored to its former beauty with added modern features to provide a comfortable and artistically inspiring experience.
Dadirri Redcap farm stay, bed and breakfast, is nestled on the banks of the idyllic Glenelg river, 22kms from Casterton and 10kms from Dergholm, in Western Victoria. The property is a working farm and is centrally located to the Coonawarra wine district, Mt. Gambier blue lakes, the Grampians and other local tourism attractions. Accommodation is provided in the original rustic 100 year old farm house and is ideal for guests wishing to escape the "Rat Race" for a few days.
We are a small hobby farm 40 mins from the Grampians, 40 mins from Portland and 1 1/2 hrs from the start of the Great Ocean Road. We will accept dogs upon approval, they must be vaccinated and be up to date with all injections. There are plenty of things to do and see in the district.
