The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland, overlooking a valley with roaming beef/dairy cows. Sit on our swing or at our fire pit and watch the amazing sunset. This small, 1 room, new tiny house called “The Lite House” is decorated shabby chic and located in a beautiful wooded setting facing a cove at a marina with views of the water on the Ohio River. Catch beautiful sunrises here. There are shared places on the property guests can use while staying, a covered shelter with grills, supplies, tables, chairs, fire pit, side walks. Located about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, our Gopher Wood Getaway cabin offers a rustic and picturesque place for families to stay near the Ark. Enjoy 500 sq ft of living space inside the cabin that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bunk room and full bathroom. Our cabin has heating, AC and electric over looking 84 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass. NOTE: Our cabins are truly a GETAWAY as we do NOT have any wi-fi or TV in them. If you are looking to experience lake life, look no further! Our Guest House sits on the beautiful 140 acre Bullock Pen Lake. It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! Built in 1954, stylish Bluegrass Cottage has been recently renovated and modernized for your comfort and is located 7 minutes from the Ark, and 37 minutes from the Creation Museum!  Centrally located - 2 minutes away from Walmart and multiple restaurants, but still has plenty of privacy with a privacy fenced back yard, and your own propane fire pit! You'll enjoy access through the back gate to the local park with a walking path around the lake, perfect for evening strolls!

The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.
