Windsor House, recently restored by Genevieve and Peter, on the first floor of the building, is an exquisite 19th century apartment situated in the absolute heart of Kalk Bay village, overlooking the lively and historic Kalk Bay Harbour. With grand views across the azure sea of False Bay to the magnificent Hottentots Holland mountain range, Windsor House is a treat. It has narrow cobbled streets and small, independent shops selling clothing and homeware, coffee and ice cream. It's cheerful, colourful, and crammed with places to eat and drink really well, pretty inexpensively too. Walking paths take you up the mountain or to the tidal pools and beaches. Just Kalk Bay is a treat of a holiday!
