Alpine CasitaLet me be honest, no saleswoman here so this will be short, sweet and to the point. If you are looking to kick back and relax after strolling around West Texas then look no further. Located outside of town down a long lane with spectacular views. Casita has Fire TV Cube with Netflix-WiFi is iffy sometimes but with a brief pause things load & able to stream. Casita is clean, bed is comfy, ac is cold, shower is hot, not sure what more you could ask for.
Casita on Arabella MountainGuest (studio) casita located on Arabella Mtn. in Limpia Crossing, 9 miles from Fort Davis and 8 miles from McDonald Observatory. Cools mornings, pleasant afternoons. The casita has everything you need to get away from it all. Sleep in or have early coffee and watch the wildlife. One can choose to have dinner in town or cook and have a quiet dinner in the casita. Star gazing is beautiful here in the Davis Mountains.
Sleeping Lion, #6 | Historic Fort Davis Drug StoreThe Drug Store, nestled in the heart of Fort Davis, is a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Staying in the rooms of the hotel above provides convenient, and often VIP, access to one of the must-visit places in the area. You'll have a chance to meet and talk to Richard and Jennifer, the owners, about the town's history and must-see sights. The 22-foot soda fountain installed in 1950 is a favorite attraction serving old time hand-mixed fountain drinks and ice cream treats like milkshakes, sundaes and banana splits. For breakfast, lunch and dinner the restaurant provides fresh and tasty, homestyle food just steps from the rooms on the second floor.
