Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Carnaween View

Situated at the head of a picturesque valley 5 km from the nearest main road. The nearest habited house is 3km away. Views from the cottage are stunning and on a clear night you can count the stars. There is no light pollution. This is where the host and at least two generations before him were born and raised. It is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet. Feedback from current customers all comment on the peace and quiet and the sheep.

You can relax and enjoy walks in the countryside and mountains. Enjoy relaxing by the fire or taking the short walk to The Glen Tavern where you will always get a great welcome. The Glen Tavern is one of the few rural pub/shop left in Ireland. Here you will enjoy a warm welcome and enjoy.
