The picturesque village of Clogherhead is 3.3km away and has restaurants, takeaways, pubs and a beach cafe. Louth is the Land of Legends and has a rich history with plenty to see and do. There are a wide variety of outdoor activities including golf, walking and water activities. The M1 motorway is a 14min drive with Dublin and Belfast an hour in either direction.

The lodge is just recently been reburnished with new kitchen and bathroom situated to the rear of the main house in a rural setting which is peaceful and quite, you have the added security that the main house and cottage are close by. Several beaches within a short drive or walk away.Salters town sea swimming of the jetty all year around 5 min drive away Dunany riding stables on our doorstep, Baltray club within15-20 min drive. Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

Beautiful stone cottages with pretty gardens and courtyard, the cottages sit on a private acre site with lovely views of the surrounding county side. Situated in the heart of Couth Louth "Land of Legends" The quaint villages of Castlebellingham and Blackrock are close by with a good selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs. There are wonderful sandy beaches in Blackrock, Clogherhead and Port.
