From the view of the mountains right outside the front door and deck, you can walk a few blocks to restaurants, post office, hiking trails, and the White River Museum. Meeker's location in one of the most remote areas of Colorado makes it a perfect home base for heading to the surrounding public lands including the Flat Tops Wilderness and White River. It’s also a destination for the Sheepdog Trials and Mustang Makeover.

A short 30 minute drive to steamboat springs and all that it has to offer, we are also less than 10 minutes from the Yampa valley regional airport, and three minutes from downtown Hayden. Our property is located in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to gorgeous ranch land, with access to miles of free skiing and snowshoeing trails in the winter.

Salt Shed Flats is located in the heart of the historic Hayden Granary. The Yampa (Unit 1) features a queen bed, and pull out couch. These are cozy, comfortable, and well stocked units for any length of stay in Hayden, Colorado! Located 30 minutes West of Steamboat & 5 minutes from Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The Flat is located near a brewery & food truck, yet typically all is quiet after 10pm. There is an additional pet fee, cleaning fee for 10+ days and monthly stays.
