Modern Cabin | Hot Tub | Near Sandy River

Welcome to your modern cabin retreat nestled on the edge of a 22 acre wooded parcel and a seasonal creek in Rhododendron, Oregon. Located across the street from the serene Sandy River and just 10 miles from Government Camp/Mt. Hood, this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is perfect for up to 6 guests. Silver Cedars Cabin offers a one-of-a-kind experience, with handcrafted furniture, unique flooring, and custom concrete countertops featuring recycled glass, all built by the homeowners themselves.

Loft Room at Megumi Chalet

The Loft Room at Megumi Chalet, an owner-occupied lodge located in the heart of Government Camp, is one of three private rooms available on the third floor. It has a king and a twin bed. There is additional sleeping space in the loft above. Accompanying this room is a private bathroom. In addition, a service elevator is available to carry luggage to third floor rooms. The living room, work area, and balconies with magnificent views of Mt. Hood, are shared by our third floor guests.

The Honeymoon Suite

Private attached bath finished in Italian Marble with a 2 person hot tub with 45 jets. The shower is large enough for 2 and has 3 shower heads. The bedroom furniture was all handmade by artisans in Bothell, Washington. The mattress, sheets and duvet covers are all high quality. There is a dust mite cover on the mattress as well and all pillows have protectors on them too. The floor is bamboo. There is a smart TV with netflix and local TV channels. There is a garment steamer too.

East Room at Megumi Chalet

The East Room at Megumi Chalet, an owner-occupied lodge located in the heart of Government Camp, is one of three private rooms available on the third floor. It has a king and a twin bed-thus sleeping three guests. The bathroom is shared with another room on the third floor. In addition, a service elevator is available to carry luggage to third floor rooms. The living room, work area, and balconies with magnificent views of Mt. Hood, are shared by our third floor guest

Oak Street Hotel - Pin Oak (#2)

Welcome to Pin Oak, an intimate retreat on our upper floor, offering a partial view of the Columbia Gorge and Washington. This cozy room features hand-wrought iron furnishings and hand-crafted window and bed treatments, maintaining our hotel's unique charm. Accommodating two guests with a queen-sized bed, Pin Oak provides a snug yet inviting atmosphere. The private en-suite bathroom includes a shower and a well-designed door for added privacy.

Gorge Room - Inn at the Gorge

Best location in Hood River! The Gorge Room is bright and airy and located in the Northeast corner of the Inn. It has beautiful defuse light all day so it stays bright and cheery and is always cool. Located just a quick walk from Hood River's best dining, shopping, and breweries, Inn at the Gorge offers you all the comforts of home in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere (See more details on Location below).

River Play for 2 Gorge Room

Ideal for Gorge athletes! Paddlers, surfers, kiters, hikers, runners, bikers, etc.....the complete list is much longer ;-) Private lockable room but shared bathrooms, kitchen, living room etc. When it's a full house (often), scheduling the shower is best. Our house is BLUE! Please do not disturb the RED house ;-) WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FROM GUESTS WITH PROOF OF COVID19 VACCINATION

The Family Suite

This room has 4 twin beds and 1 queen. Perfect for Families or groups on a budget. There is a private half bath (toilet and sink) in the room and two full baths that are shared on the ground floor. This room has nice views of Mt. Adams to the north, Mt. Hood to the south and our neighboring winery "Cathedral Ridge Winery" a one minute walk away! 8% local lodging tax is included in the price.

Bunk Room at Megumi Chalet

The Bunk Room at Megumi Chalet, an owner-occupied lodge located in the heart of Government Camp, is a private area located on the first floor. It has twin bunk beds. One lower bunk is a full bed (sleeps 2). Accompanying this room is a private bathroom. The room also has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig, electric kettle, dishes and dining table.

Oak Street Hotel - Scarlet Oak (#3)

The Scarlet Oak room is nestled upstairs for an intimate retreat. This cozy haven offers a captivating river view, unveiling a panorama of the Columbia Gorge and the picturesque landscapes of Washington. Though not overly spacious, its charm lies in its snug ambience and natural light creating an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.
