Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

We invite you to relax and recharge in the cabin, sauna and hot tub because you deserve it! Lay in the comfy QUEEN sized bed to stargaze at the beautifully lit sky through the skylight. Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Enjoy some downtime at the cabin or visit some of the wonderful places Bath County has to offer. Twenty minutes from the Fort Lewis Lodge. Thirty minutes from the Douthat State Park with stocked trout lake and streams. Forty - five minutes from the Omni Homestead Resort and town of Hot Springs.

Farm's Edge Cabin at Apple Horse Farm

This cozy, secluded cabin sits on the edge of a 1000-acre farm overlooking rolling hay fields. This is the perfect spot for solo travelers, families, or couples to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. Find yourself drinking coffee, finishing up work, or deep in a good book in the sunroom. Then fill your day with outdoor activities throughout the Allegheny Highlands. At night, grill out and enjoy dinner around the table. Then light a bonfire and stargaze before ending the night.

Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

Perched up high on nearly 60 acres- you are sure to get fresh air & the rest you are searching for! Only 4 miles to Wintergreen, 6 miles to Sherando lake and backs up to the Blue Ridge Parkway there are plenty of things to do OR just relax and enjoy the crickets & stars! With crazy careers, growing kids & constant hustle- everyone needs a hide out like this every now and then!
