This cabin is meant to be intimate. Couples, family, friends, getaway and experience nature, but have a remarkable time. 20 Lakes in 20 minutes, wonderful experience, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere.  It’s set up just like a hotel. Comes with cereal, coffee bar station, complementary alcohol, and hot tub. In the summer months, we have our jet skis that can be rented out. One full-size bedroom. The other bed is a trundle bed underneath pull out. The couch has a pullout bed. Could sleep Six.

The Doorway to Heaven room is on the second floor with a shared bath at the base of the stairway. There is a communal coffee room upstairs with treats, coffee, tea and water available for all guests. This is a four bedroom, 2,000 sq foot house, and we rent three of those rooms. Two bedrooms share the main bathroom and each have a small refrigerator and TV. The other has its own bathroom and a TV. Every room has a different price because of size. You also have access to the living room, deck outside, and kitchen if you like. A cot is available for an extra guest, just select 3 guests. The additional fee will be added. The Guest room is better for 3 guests!! Please ask any questions.

There are 400 feet of frontage access to the North Branch of the Au Sable River for your fishing and recreating enjoyment. There is a fully serviced fly shop on the property, as well as guided fly-fishing and wingshooting trips and casting lessons. It’s a perfect experience for beginner or experienced anglers, or those just wishing to relax and experience nature.

Lakeview cabin and guest house with full access to all sports Elk Lake with large space to tie off pontoon, jet skies or boat. Free access to kayak. Fire pit with beautiful view of Elk Lake. A Cozy Couples Retreat. Located just off all sports lake Rose Lake. Less than a 1 minute walk to the beach, and lake access. Kayaks are included in your rental, also we have parking for a boat trailer if you decide to bring one. The boat launch is less than a minute from our place. The campground also rents Kayaks, and paddle boats. So whether you want to just relax at the beach and catch some rays, or maybe you want spend some time fishing, we have you covered.

The Sweetfern Inn is 6 miles north of Clare, on 40 acres of open meadow and wooded trails. The Huron room is on the second floor and you will share a bath with the Doorway to Heaven room. This room does have space for a twin aerobed if needed. You will be treated to a full breakfast each morning with homemade lemon curd and 7-grain pecan bread our specialties! Welcome to our slice of heaven!

The Sweetfern Inn is in Clare, Michigan and close to Mount Pleasant and Midland Michigan. We have biking & snowmobile trails, and are within 5 miles of golf courses, swimming, fishing, and antique stores! People like our great views, peaceful and quiet setting, and our great homemade breakfasts. Sweetfern Inn can accomodate couples, business travelers and groups of 6 or 8 people.
