Complete solitude yet stay connected with excellent Starlink Wifi, LTE, Netflix and a 63” HDTV in this rural retreat at 8,200’ on a private ranch. Close enough to see Durango, Lake Night Horse, Bayfield & mountain vistas. Frequented by wildlife you will often see deer, hummingbird, fox or turkey on your drive up the private 1.7 mile road that traverses the mountain. The home is solar assisted & made of eco-friendly Straw Bale construction. Walk barefoot on warm radiant heat floors in the winter.

Vallecito Log Cabin with a View

Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Strawbale Cottage

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

This house is within an hour of Mesa Verde National Park, fishing, hiking, river sports, Pagosa Springs hot springs, Purgatory and Wolf Creek ski resorts, Vallecito and Navajo Lakes, and within 5 minutes of the Sky Ute Casino and the Southern Ute museum. The views from this place are amazing.

This gorgeous, newly built 450 sq ft tiny home sits on secluded 60 acres w/ views of the mountains. It has a queen bed in the main bedroom and a couch that folds out into a full bed that is big enough for 2 kids or 1 adult. It has a full kitchen and full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Fully equipped with Starlink internet with a TV in the bedroom and a TV and xbox in living room. 20 mins to Durango, 15 mins to the airport, and 10 mins to the Sky Ute Casino.
