The Summerhouse is a newly renovated cottage on a Scottish Borders estate, combining traditional rural charm with twenty-first century luxury. It has an idyllic lakeside location and offers total peace and tranquillity. Everything is provided for your comfort, from crisp linen and super-comfy beds, luxury bathrooms, a contemporary fitted kitchen, wifi and effective heating in every room. Our changeover days are Monday and Friday only. We offer a generous 35% discount for full week bookings.

Warm and modern two-bedroom, newly restored Northumbrian stone cottage. Close to Hadrians Wall and Northumberland National Park. The former farmstead is set within its own meadows and oak woodbanks. Ecological principles have been followed in every hand-crafted detail with the use of locally sourced and natural materials to make a breathable, healthy house. Quiet and secluded, environmentally conscious retreat for those who enjoy birdwatching and walks, dark skies, owl hoots and wood fires.

Dog- friendly cottage with woodburner & games room

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

Larriston Coach House, for a very rural stay

Larriston Coach House is a large four-bedroomed cottage, part of a very rural 19th century farm steading on 28 acres, with 2,500 acres of hillside starting at the doorstep. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out. The skies are dark, the mobile reception is zero and the silence is deafening.

An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Tilery cottage is perfectly situated for discovering the outdoors whether it be while hill walking, cycling, pony trekking or bird watching, then unwind beside it's generous log burner or enjoy long soaks in it's cast iron roll top bath by evening.

It also has your own private outside sitting area. You also have a picnic bench on the edge of the river to watch the wild life and at night take in the amazing dark skies.
