Please keep in mind that THIS IS THE COUNTRY. Insect repellent is highly encouraged during the warmer months while outside. Food options and other stores are in the town of Tappannock.

Essex Mill Pond is a private 47 acre pond that will leave your family refreshed. Take it easy at this unique and peaceful getaway. If you like fishing for large bass or crappie, jumping off the floating dock, kayaking, or just relaxing on the porch swing with an amazing view; this place is for you. If you have a boat, there is a drop off (no gas motors, please!). Bring your poles!
