Beinn Dearg - Luxury Cottage, Isle of Skye

Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. It's also ideal for kayakers or walkers. The bothy is next to the host's artist’s studio which it is possible to see by arrangement. With rocky coast and woodland behind, and the sea almost lapping at the front door, this simple but stylish bothy has everything you could need for the most restful of breaks.

It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room which opens out onto a private decking area. The kitchen has a hob, oven & microwave, an under counter fridge with small icebox. Though annexed to the main house it has its own private entrance and parking. The bedroom has a king sized bed with luxurious linen bedding, the ensuite has a generous sized walk in rainfall shower..

Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. It's the perfect place for a spring break, the straw walls make it super cosy. Built just for two, feel free to kick off your shoes and coorie in after a bracing walk in the sea air or though misty glens.
