The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Close to Weeki Wachee, Homosassa and Crystal River for manatee viewing or scallop season.

Newly remodeled home on 5 acres, private neighborhood, 5 minutes to city center and all attractions. Large living spaces, separated by pocket doors allow for large groups to spread out and bedrooms to remain quiet. spacious screened in patio is great place to grill out, unwind and shoot pool. Boat Ramps, Marinas, Kayak/Boat Rentals, Trails and restaurants and bars are 5 minutes away. Plenty of parking for trailers and RVs. ( no camping)
