Peaceful Getaway Minutes from Fishing and Hunting

This cabin, (the Sugar Shack), is located in N.E. Arkansas. It’s located on a rural residential property. There’s public fishing at Lake Charles State Park (approx. 30 minutes). Portia Bay is only 7 miles away, which also offers public fishing. The cabin is also about 7 miles from the public access to Shirey Bay, which is owned by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Shirey Bay is a WMA wildlife management area. There are also public accesses to the Black River within 6-10 miles.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the 11 point river. This is best for a couples get away but there is a loft that can sleep two children. This cabin is approx 30ft in the air, overlooking the river with a hot tub and grill on the deck. There is a small area to sit on the river and a fire pit. Trukees canoe rental is within one mile. There is a public boat access within 5 miles. This is a perfect place for a couples get away to some peace and quiet!
