First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Nestled up in the bluffs, you'll have access to a custom 12000 Square Foot Mansion situated on 84 acres with breathtaking views of the Missouri River Valley. As you drive up the private airstrip which doubles as a driveway, you'll notice the private pond stocked with fish, vineyards, and lots of wildlife. The mansion features many ultra luxury appointments. A master suite and bathroom with a jet tub, heated floors, and private changing rooms. Enjoy a movie with your guests in the theater.

Just 15 minutes north of down town Lawrence, the Big Barn at the Snake Farm Ranch is perfect for a weekend romantic getaway or a family vacation. Ask us about our on site hiking and mountain biking trails if that is something you are interested in. The apartment is on the top floor or a beautiful post and beam barn. Newly constructed, the barn was built to add guest quarters to the main house and to provide sleeping and practice facilities for our local youth mountain bike team(s).

The property is 20 acres with a 2 acre pond, 1 acre of vegetables, 2 dozen goats, (large but gentle) guardian dogs, and a flock of chickens and ducks. The camp sites are scattered around the property, secluded from one another. Enjoy a day of fishing or strolling the property and finish off a relaxing day by watching the sunset by the fire.
