The wonderfully remodeled home based on 55 acres overlooking mature trees and a large pond. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Laundry is available to use as well. Kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking enjoyment and a gas grill is offered as well to use. This house is perfect for families, small groups, or business trips. Situated just 20 minutes from Des Moines airport, and 25 minutes from downtown Des Moines, you will be able to experience the quiet and beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Beautiful country setting located in Southern Iowa and only 5 miles from town. And minutes from Little River Lake if you enjoy fishing, boating or swimming. Hunting in Southern Iowa is a popular past time for many. We have a small cute 2 bedroom home available for you to relax and get out of the city. Leon has a grocery store, Dollar store, Caseys, and a Ice Cream Shop with sandwiches and other food available along with shopping in the back. Then right next door is another little cafe.

Unplug and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. This escape is newly remodeled and is located on 6 acres, which is mostly timber. You'll have place to get outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. Our property has it's own drive way and private parking. As well as a private deck. A charcoal grill is available on the deck, just remember to bring your own charcoal along. There is no TV or Wifi in the house so you can maximize your relaxing escape in nature.

The Country Escape

Country setting located just 2 miles W of Leon and less than a mile from Little River Lake. This newly remodeled house features a spacious, full kitchen, dining area with a 10 person farmhouse table, living room with 3 full couches , one of which doubles as a queen size bed. There is a smart TV. Bedroom 1 and 2 have a queen bed, bedroom 3 has 2 queen beds. Spacious patio with dining furniture. There is a circle drive to accommodate boat/trailer parking.

Braden Place

Located on the North side of the Chariton square. Large windows looking towards the courthouse. Light and airy decor. Iron Horse restaurant for lunch or supper along with our friendly Mexican restaurant and The Porch coffee shop, and several more all within walking distance. Vision II movie theater is only 3 blocks away with first-run movies. Southern Iowa charm surrounds you in this pristine historical setting. Be our guest at Braden Place.

Palmers Hideaway

Our smaller unit is like a hotel room. It has a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa. You have your own small kitchen. A patio in the front that over looks the back yard and the burn pit. The small bathroom has a fabulous shower and plenty of hot water. Stocked with fluffy towels and comfy bedding this place is truly a hideaway. The kitchenette has a microwave, nice slice fridge and plenty of other kitchen utensils and dishes.

The Cozy Cottage

We are located 2 miles off I 35 in Decatur City. 10 minutes from Graceland College in Lamoni. 10 minutes from Little River Lake and have parking for boats and outdoor outlet available for charging boat batteries. We love cozy uncluttered spaces to rent and our goal for this Airbnb was to create that for our guests. We offer complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea ,snacks and toiletries.

Wolf Den Lodge

This is a nice, rustic cabin located out in the country in a calm quiet atmosphere. Located a short drive from Bethany MO with access to everything you would need. There is plenty of countryside to explore as well as farm pond great for fishing about 100 yards from the back door. Great place to experience the country life and get away for a few days.
