This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. This is very much a budget home listing suitable for those visiting family, short term workers to town and holiday travellers who are independent and not too fussy. This recently renovated Gate Lodge 500 m from the Wild Atlantic Way, Kinsale 20min east and Clonakilty 20min West. 40 mins from Cork Airport. This area boasts beautiful beaches, forest walks, fishing, birdwatching and the famous Seven Heads Walk. Ballinspittle is a short drive with a unique gift shop, deli and cafe. Rebecca"s farm shop and cafe is a 5 minute walk. Vibrant farmers markets and the many restaurants in this area celebrate the wonderful local produce from land and sea.

Our elegant and peaceful garden lodge has stunning sea views and is located a 5 minute walk from two long beaches, Garrettstown and Garrylucas. The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on one of the many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden
