Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

The house can sleep up to 6 guests , with two double bedrooms and a single with bunkbeds . There are two spacious private gardens either side with views of Snowdon/ Wyddfa and neighbouring mountains. Cosy converted barn on the outskirts of the village of Deiniolen in the Snowdonia hills. 2 miles from Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, you can enjoy views of the mountain from your velux window. The property is heated with woodburner, all fuel is provided. Sleeps 2 under the eaves on a mezzanine floor, not suitable for persons with mobility issues due to the sloping ceilings. Open plan living area with large dining table, sofa, fully equipped kitchen. Small shower room with WC and basin.
