Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

Our property boasts superb sea views over Scapa Flow, Hoy and beyond, aswell as field views from the bedrooms. Situated 3 miles from Kirkwall Town centre, with country walks from our doorstep, we offer the ideal spot to explore Orkney. We have free off road parking and an outdoor drying space. Please note: this property is accessed via stairs and no lifts etc are available.

It is a small, well equipped space, 13.3m2 with kitchen and showerroom off, ideally located a few minutes flat walk from Kirkwall town centre and Orkney College with sea views across Kirkwall Bay. Ample FREE parking. Late (even midnight) arrival is fine, just let yourself in. Rigorous cleaning always.

Self -catering apartment in a unique Island place

New Horries is situated in the east of the Orkney Mainland (main Island), about 12 miles from KIrkwall, in the parish of Deerness, which is almost an Island accessible via a natural causeway (open all year round) between the meeting of the North Sea and North Atlantic Ocean to the south and by Deer Sound to the north. The property - an amalgam of Local, modern, ground floor set into the hill, and traditional Norwegian - and was designed and built by the owners, completed in 2011.

Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.

Trowietoon is a small cottage built in 1933, it is a quirky little cottage set a stones throw away from Newark Beach. The Bothy has NO TV The bed is a box bed that measures 6 feet by 4 feet 6inches. Bedding and towels supplied in an open-plan bedsit with kitchen the cooker is a mini table top cooker 2 hot plates and small oven also a microwave. Wetroom shower and toilet. There is no TV. Bothy is the building on the right hand side of the photo.MAXIMUM GUESTS IS TWO NO CHILDREN UNDER FIVE. No smoking anywhere and no pets. Wifi is in The Bothy

Our Deluxe Wigwam is situated on an old croft on the Westside of the Island of Westray in the Orkney Islands. The croft fronts onto and looks across the bay of Tuquoy and is near a salt marsh which attracts migrating birds.
