It is 1/2 block from 3rd street corridor of shops & restaurants. 5 blocks to the sandy Lake Superior beach and a few miles from NTN trails, ski hill, NMU, hospital & 2 blocks from our Blackrocks brewery pub. Enjoy this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette, just off of HWY M-28. Expect traffic noise. It has aQ bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairs.

The deck is great for early morning coffee and the back yard fire pit and cedar barrel sauna for an evening wind down. The kitchen includes a new gas range for all your cooking or baking needs. More adults and children welcome with approval and 2 dog max or $100 fee over 2 animals ($150 if not declared). No cats.

The Cedar Cabin at Pinecrest Northwoods

This 100 year old hand hewn log cabin is perched up on a bluff which looks out over Juncob Lake on one side, and The Michigamme River on the other. The top of the bluff offers a nice open area for admiring the lake, hammocking, stargazing, or a lawn game. Out the back entrance of the cabin there is a small system of trails to take you on a short hike along the Michigamme, or, you can stay inside and enjoy a warm beverage cozied up by the wood burning fireplace!
