Step into a classic hand-crafted 700 sq. ft. log cabin tucked away in the woods, where evenings are spent by the stone fireplace and mornings may bring visits from our resident deer. Have a picnic on one of our many boulders on the property. Sit out back around the fire and relax. The loft has a queen sized bed and a futon. Our bathroom has a gorgeous clawfoot tub. Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.
