The Marina is lined with shops and restaurants and dockside crabbing and fishing. We are 1 block from the iconic Observation Tower that is the starting point of a paved hiking/biking path that meanders along Halfmoon Bay to the Jetty, where the number one surfing spot in the state is located! Or just sit, relax...and watch the ships go by!

The Saltbox was originally built back in 1940, but given a full face lift for its new adventure! Our cottage is dog friendly and located between Ocean Shores and Seabrook, about a 15 minute drive to each. Whether you're looking to enjoy the sound of the ocean from the balcony, a cozy fire down in the pit, game nights with the family, or a quiet space for you and your pups, we hope you'll find it here. Couples have comfortable space but yet don't have that feeling of being 'lost' in a large home, while groups up to 7 guests have ample room and aren't crowded.

The beach, paved beach trail and lighthouse are a short 1/2 mile walk from the cabin. The 🏄‍♀️ surf break and Marina are only 4 miles. Discover nearby attractions like Twin Harbors State Park (2 miles), Westhaven State Park (2 miles) and Grayland Beach State Park Drive-On Beach Access (6 miles).

We are up and running with all repairs done. The Cabin at Willapa Bay is a fully-furnished (with complete kitchen) private retreat in South Bend, WA, halfway between Seattle and Portland overlooking the Willapa River. We are an hour from Astoria and about 50 minutes from Long Beach. It is a perfect romantic get-away. Quiet. SAFE. No cleaning fee. We have no contact check-in with coded entrance.
