Rukiya River House is located in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve neighbouring the Greater Kruger. It is an private residence built beneath old riverine trees on the banks of the Blyde River. Although the house is complete private you have the added benefit of being within the grounds of Rukiya Safari camp where you can go for meals, enjoy a dip in the pool and join safari activities. The house has beautiful river views and when staying you have access to Wild Rivers Nature Reserve.

Lazy days can be spent down at the river, picnicking. Evenings are enjoyed by a quick visit from the local Bush pigs (very rare) on their evening foraging route. Kruger Park (Orpen Gate) is a mere 60km away and on our door step are many other special places to visit like the Blyde River Canyon.

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile.
