Manly Beach 1920s Apartment with Garden, Fully Renovated.
Wake up to the smell of the ocean air in this historical home. Discover a peaceful retreat in this refinished ground floor apartment with an all white interior and hardwood floors throughout, a corner patio, and original leaded stained glass windows. Manly Beach voted by TripAdviser 2019 no 1 Australian Beach and in top 20 in the world! 1920s classic Manly style, light filled beach retreat with sunny garden. *Morning sun in dining/sunroom and afternoon sun in lounge room & garden. *Gated parking for small size car and free permit for on street parking. *Crisp white interior with high ceilings *Lounge & dining/sunroom *Huge King Bedroom & bathroom with bath. (King bed can be divided into two King Singles on request). *2nd Queen room & 3rd Single room plus 2nd bathroom *In floor central heating and ceiling fans. *All new quality appliances *Verandah, BBQ & outdoor dining *Sony 50" smart TV, iPod docking station & speakers *100% quality cotton linen provided on new hotel quality beds *Hairdryer, iron & board, coffee machine *high chair available and cot can be provided at extra cost on request *Quality amenities shampoo, soap, kitchen basics *FREE Wifi *Washing machine & dryer *NOW supplying BEACH TOWELS Entire apartment and surrounding garden for your exclusive private use. Apartment upstairs has seperate private entry. I don't live at the house. There is a service contact if required for any problems. Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre and nightlife sounds. The famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach are within walking distance. Buses travel constantly up and down nearby Sydney and Pittwater Roads to all surrounding areas and the city. Manly Wharf is in walking distance to catch a boat into the city. I walk from the apartment to everywhere in Manly. If you need a car there is an off street space for a small to medium size car secured behind a gate. For a larger or 2nd car there is a resident parking permit for free unrestricted street parking. For those who find walking up a hill to the apartment from Manly difficult there are frequent bus services which stop on the flat nearby and a taxi rank at the bottom or the hill which cost about $7. Manly Council provides a free ‘hop, skip & jump’ bus every 30 mins from morning to early evening, which stops near or in the street - depending which route you take. There is room for surfboards and outside shower is a great way to rinse off after the beach. The dryer is located under the house near clothes line. Washing machine is in the kitchen. The apartment is on the ground floor of a two apartment duplex. Access to the house for those with a disability has one small step up to the front verandah and another small step up once inside the entry hall. There are another two steps inside the house from the kitchen up to slightly elevated dining/sun room. Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre. The famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach are within walking distance.

Fairlight Maison
Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.

Harbour Hideaway
Beach front Luxury escape for 2 only. No parties allowed, it is on the lower level of our house, which overlooks Sydney Harbour, It has its own private entrance and is totally separate, it has direct access to the beach in Clontarf, there are 62 steps up to the apartment. We are on the Spit bridge to Manly walk which is stunning. Seaforth Village and Manly are close. Sandy bar cafe at the Marina and Bosk in Park, also a wide variety of first-class dining and shopping options are close by

Studio
Self-contained studio for up to 2 guests. Lock box check-in. Has private entrance with private deck to relax on. Real Queen size bed. Short walk to Manly Dam reserve. Close to public golf course. Close to public transport to city, Manly and northern beaches. Local patisserie café, chemist and medical centre and 20-minute flat walk to a major Westfield shopping centre with cinemas. Basic breakfast on arrival supplied. Wi Fi available. No off-street parking, no parking on the shared access rd.

Tranquil Garden Apartment
Light and airy 2 bedroom self-contained garden apartment. The apartment faces North East and is only 5 minutes' drive to Manly Beach and Manly Dam bushland reserve. It is in an elevated position and catches the sea breezes with its own entrance and large private deck & courtyard. Street parking is available in quiet cul de sac. Comfortable queen beds in spacious bedrooms, separate living/dining room, bathroom and kitchenette with induction cooktop, with laundry available for guest use.

Panoramic Views & Beach Front Fairy Bower
This top floor apartment undoubtably has one of the best views and locations in all of Manly. Featuring eye watering panoramic views over Manly beach as well as Fairy Bower and Shelly beach. Fairy Bower is the perfect swimming spot due to its protected location and ocean pool, which makes it perfect for families. The bay window is perfect for gazing down to the promenade, reminiscent of the Italian coastline with bathers sprawled over the rocks soaking up the summer sun.

1 Bedroom Garden Apartment
Located in a quiet, leafy suburb conveniently located approximately 15 minutes to the beaches and 20 minutes drive to the city. A garden apartment with a large double bedroom and bathroom / laundry, lounge room, and self contained kitchen. A hop, skip and jump to the city and Chatswood bus service and walking distance to local shops. If you have a car, there is ample street parking.

Studio cottage close to the beach
(Studio update December 2025) - The studio will very unfortunately be next door to a building site.. Demolition and excavation are complete though there can still be general building noise. The builders hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Very likely the normal peace and serenity will be disrupted during this time.
