Creekside Cottage near the Hiawassee and the Ocoee

The cottage has a breathtaking view of the Chilhowee mountain starting in September and last through the winter. It is visible from the dining room, living room, master bedroom, front porch, and back deck. There are three outdoors tables with chairs. It sleeps six comfortably with the option of an air mattress for extra people. It has a creek in the yard. It is 8 miles to the Ocoee river and the Hiwassee. Because you are in the National Forest there will be no shortage of parks to visit.

“On The River”

We have a climate controlled sunporch. Cable, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Handicap accessible. Kayaks and tubes available; about a 2 mile float from Ocoee dam #1 down to the dock. There are three levels of docks at the river. Gas/charcoal grill. Also, there is a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river is controlled by TVA, it's usually down in the morning so you can explore and swim, kayak and fish. Most afternoons the river is flowing for a lazy float down to our easy and accessible dock.

Disconnect from daily stress and enjoy uninterrupted quality time with your loved ones at the secluded 'On River Time' in the woods, great for fishing trips, romantic escapes, and family retreats! We take pride in making sure each guest walks into a clean and polished home for their stay. Linens are sanitized and inspected before and after each guest so that you don't have to worry about cleanliness. Pets welcome, one max, 50 lbs. and under, $100 fee.

This is a great place to relax & unplug. The internet in the area is very slow.
