Creekside Cottage near the Hiawassee and the Ocoee

The cottage has a breathtaking view of the Chilhowee mountain starting in September and last through the winter. It is visible from the dining room, living room, master bedroom, front porch, and back deck. There are three outdoors tables with chairs. It sleeps six comfortably with the option of an air mattress for extra people. It has a creek in the yard. It is 8 miles to the Ocoee river and the Hiwassee. Because you are in the National Forest there will be no shortage of parks to visit.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space ,our backyard with fire pit and hot tub will slow you down from your busy city life,if so you’re minutes away from Outland Ocoee River Rafting and any other rafting adventures, in just a short drive you’re experiencing footstep of Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests mountains ,You can bring your own kayak and experience Ocoee river rush , or hike beautiful trails in Cheroke National Forest ,all this is in a 5-20 min of driving distance!

“On The River”

We have a climate controlled sunporch. Cable, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Handicap accessible. Kayaks and tubes available; about a 2 mile float from Ocoee dam #1 down to the dock. There are three levels of docks at the river. Gas/charcoal grill. Also, there is a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river is controlled by TVA, it's usually down in the morning so you can explore and swim, kayak and fish. Most afternoons the river is flowing for a lazy float down to our easy and accessible dock.

No pets are allowed on the property at any time. Including other visitors. We take pride in making sure each guest walks into a clean and polished home for their stay. Linens are sanitized and inspected before and after each guest so that you don't have to worry about cleanliness.

If you like to fish, this is the perfect spot for you, as you have direct access to the Hiwassee River. Not a fisherman? Grab a book & relax on the private dock or sun porch. LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS. This is a great place to relax & unplug. The internet in the area is very slow.
