Must be comfortable on your knees because it’s a low headroom situation. There is a main level futon sofa sleeper too if need be. Our contemporary cabin is located 10 minutes (6 miles) from the town of Telluride. We are 2.7 miles form the Town of Mountain Village Gondola parking structure. The Gondola is a fun, free ride to town. Your host, Jen, is knowledgable about the area and can give you all the pointers you need to live like a local during your stay in Ouray.

Backcountry Basecamp 1

The cabin is located in Lake City directly across from the visitor center, movie theater, and post office. It was built in 2019. The cabin is 420 sq ft and includes a bathroom with large shower, a kitchen, a laundry room, two private decks, private little yard with fire pit, and parking. It is a studio type set up. It is attached but separate to a larger 1900 sq ft cabin that is also for rent.
