'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Our place is in the mountains on the edge of town and National Forest, 1.5 miles from 10,000 Waves Japanese Spa, 10 minutes to the Plaza in the heart of Santa Fe, and 20 minutes to the ski basin with unlimited hiking and mountain biking in between. The house is tasteful, private, quiet, has amazing views, and has easy access to Santa Fe's finest restaurants, galleries, and activities. The bedroom sleeps 2 with a king size bed and the living room has a twin size bed escape great for children, custom built with a beautiful flower wall, a kid’s dream!
