My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

cabin that sits on a native trout stream. a catch and release area right above the cabin that is stocked and close to trout fishing all around. while it sits close to a back road, it is peaceful. there is wifi that works well and a television in every room. there are sliding doors onto the front porch. two bedrooms with king beds and one with twin beds. there are two full baths and a laundry. a great place to unwind

Smoke Hole River House w/ private pool

Relax by the river listening to the sounds of nature. Swim in our private pool under the stars or in the warm sunshine. Fishing, swimming, and tubing in our over 500 feet of private river access. Large back yard that borders the river to enjoy the firepit, or pitch horseshoes. Observe Bald Eagles as they fly above the river. Watch squirrels, rabbits, and other wildlife play in the yard from the pool deck.

Our family cabins include two bedrooms downstairs and a loft upstairs with three additional beds. It has a full kitchen,living room with fireplace, washer and dryer, and hot tub with lights. We are only 3 miles from the Seneca rocks. We are also close to Dolly sods, Spruce Knob, Blackwater Falls, horseback riding We also accept pets for $30 each.
