(It is near the road but if you can handle some occasional road traffic, you will love our place!) Enjoy hearing the birds, watch squirrels play in the trees, drink your coffee outside as the morning sunlight shines through. A short drive in either direction sends you to Historic Edenton or sandy beaches of the OBX. The Lake House is perfect for families relaxing or even a business stay. Other events must be preapproved. Traveling to the OBX for vacation? Drive to Elizabeth City, get some much needed rest and only have a 45 minute drive to your vacation!

We are so excited to invite you to stay in our sweet little classic cottage, nestled in the heart of Elizabeth City's historic district. 1201 Church Street is surrounded by some of the original Elizabeth City homes dating all the way back to the late 1700s. We fell in love with the charm of the area combined with all of the up-and-coming attractions nearby. Our cottage is close to all of the new downtown breweries, wine bars, trendy restaurants, and waterfront district.

The Cotton Patch

Unplug at the Cotton Patch. A destination where you can unwind amongst multiple structures with great history that were relocated from the "Sandy Point Camp Ground" years back to this quiet 10 acres of open grass pasture. Located conveniently just off Hwy 32 and Hwy 37 near the Albemarle Sound this location is very easy to get to and yet very quiet. Just 6 miles from downtown historic Edenton where you can tour, sip, dine, and shop near the waterfront.
