A little gas log stove compliments the Nest central heating, keeping it toasty even as the snow piles high. We are on a 1/2 acre with a lovely meadow just steps from the back porch. Rustic and cozy 1920s vintage time capsule cabin with mid century furnishings and original kitchen and appliances. Pet friendly! Unplug for a few days with NO WIFI/Internet. If you need these amenities, another place would be better. Hiking from your doorstep, Lake Isabella 10 minute drive down the hill, with boating, swimming, and fishing, and just a few miles up the road to Kernville, with white water rafting, fly fishing, and great restaurants alongs the Kern river. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.
