This house is within walking distance of the South fork of the Spring River. Flathead Retreat is about a 10 minute drive from old Hardy town. It’s also just a short drive to Mammoth Spring. The start of the Spring River.

Just 40 minutes north of Batesville if you want to shop or take in a movie then retreat to the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, 3 miles from Cherry Event Barn, close to Strawberry River accesses. We provide firewood for the firepit, lighter and 1 bag of charcoal for the grill, and a coffee/cocoa station.

Secluded lakefront and beach!! Small stand alone house perfect for a tranquil night's rest away from it all tucked away in the forest. Guests will have access to 42 acres of land and hunt stands for turkey, deer, and hog hunting. (Different rates apply FOR HUNTERS). Explore the spring river for duck hunting, fishing, floating, hiking, quaint shops and eateries in scenic Hardy, nearby access to Peebles Bluff Strawberry River rec area, and Martin creek.
