Three Meadows Farm, outdoor views, great location

As you approach the driveway on the private lane, you'll be welcomed by beautiful meadows and rolling hills. Set on 10 acres in a shaded, forest of mature trees it's comfortable year round. There are beautiful mountain views from several locations on the property. It's peaceful and quiet here most of the time. We're conveniently located just minutes from Flint Hill, not much farther to Washington VA, Sperryville and Front Royal. It's a two bedroom/one bathroom apartment above a detached garage.

The Manor House at Spring Haven Farm

Get your nature fix staying here. Perfect for family or friend gatherings since it sleeps 8; yet it's also romantic for just the 2 . Huge fireplace for warm evenings (extra charge for wood/cleaning), beautiful night sky and 10 foot beamed ceilings, 2 decks, walks around the lake. Cozy and comfortable formal with a first floor bedroom, if you have trouble with steps this home may be challenging. Pets allowed on a case by case basis, on a leash at all times outdoors and in restricted areas.

The Schoolhouse at Meadow Grove is charming , circa 1881 in beautiful Rappahannock County. The main house, Meadow Grove, the Cabin, the Schoolhouse at Meadow Grove and other outbuildings are on the National Historic Register, of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmark Register. The Schoolhouse is situated on a knoll, overlooking a pond, the farm, and Big Battle Mountain. This is an incredible opportunity to stay in a historic schoolhouse on a Century Family owned and operated cattle farm.

Enjoy the beauty of each season at our historic Tiny Log Cabin, built in the 1800s and newly renovated on a beautiful farm setting. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

John Pope Cabin Browntown Va. We now have Starlink

Our cabin, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains is uniquely positioned overlooking a large open field where hawks hunt and bears leisurely stroll. Our neighbors have horses that peer over the fence (nosy) pet them but don’t feed them, please. Our cabin was built in 1865 by a Confederate soldier returning from the Civil War. Eleven children were born and raised in John Pope Cabin. Our cabin is rustic. An inviting front porch with swing is waiting for you @walnuthillcabin

The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.
