About us: HI! My name is Bree and my husband's name is Shaun. We are in our mid 30's, we have 2 kids, Mariah-7 and Emerik-5. We live in Wyoming MN which is 45 min from the cabin. Its been a life long dream to own a cabin and blessed to be able to have one. Because we have young kids, we do not get up there every weekend in the summer and not at all in the winter. We would love to be able to provide a getaway for a family or couple to enjoy fishing, hot tubing, campfires, sunsets, swimming at our cabin when we cannot. I hope you enjoy and come back again. :)
Cabin is located at the end of a short street on a dead end road. Very quiet and peaceful.

We offer a beautifully decorated in-law suite that sits on 18 acres and overlooks a small, private lake. On warm nights we have two hammocks and an area to sit by the water. On cool nights you can enjoy a bonfire and during the winter months you can snuggle up by the fireplace and binge watch Netflix. A short drive will bring miles of walking or biking trail, Taylor's Falls, Wild Mountain, & restaurants. We offer the best of both worlds; quiet country living within 50 minutes of downtown.
Enjoy the coziness of our beautifully decorated in-law suite. The 900 sq ft in-law suite is situated on 18 acres. The space will accommodate up to four adults and offers a full kitchen, full bath, separate bedroom, fully furnished living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, and a private entrance, all on one level. The space is furnished with a queen size bed, queen sleeper sofa, and a 55" Smart TV, that comes with Dish Network, Netflix, and Hulu. Free WiFi is available too. The kitchen is supplied with a coffee maker, pots/pans, plates, glasses, silverware, basic spices etc. For those staying four or more days we have a washer & dryer on your level. During the warmer months you can sit by the lake and enjoy the views, sit on the private patio, lay in a hammock (we have two) or enjoy the massive wood burning fire-pit. During the cooler months: enjoy a bon-fire, bring your snowmobile and ride the trails, or snuggle up and binge-watch your favorite Netflix or Hulu shows with the fireplace on! NOTE: We live upstairs and we are empty-nesters so we're pretty quiet. The backyard is shared and we have two hypoallergenic dogs (Maxx) and (Finley). We live in a quiet neighborhood so if you want a place to party, this isn't the place for you. This is a low-key, sit by the bonfire, lay in the hammock, watch a movie type of place.
We want to continue hosting guests so please be respectful of our neighbors. If you meet our neighbors and they ask, tell them you're in town for a visit and staying with David and Shelli. We live at the end of a private cul-de-sac on a beautiful little lake. We feel like we have the best 18 acres in North Branch!

This little country retreat is located on a country dirt road with little to no neighbors which makes it very quiet and private. The little town of Pine City is only about 4 miles away and the community is friendly and welcoming. Chubby's Grill boasts one of the best Bloody Mary's around which serves like a meal and tastes great. We are surrounded on one side by the river and behind us is all wooded county property. It's the great getaway experience that you will love.
It's a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood, where most people enjoy the outdoors and lazy days floating on inner tubes or kayaks down the river. The neighbors in town and on Copper Canyon road are friendly and helpful and happy to fill you in pool n all that Pine City has to offer

New 520 sf 'not too tiny' house on 20 wilderness acres. Year 'round hot tub. Dog friendly. RV & EV plug. Firepit. Your Snowshoe Creek and Little Wood Lake trails. Free canoe, kayak, paddleboat. $25/day mini-pontoon boat. Fishing. Internet. WiFi. AC. Gas Fireplace. Sleep by Number. New gas stove. Ice maker. 2 TVs. ATV & snowmobile trails. 3 towns + Burnett Dairy/Bistro, 4 golf courses, DQ to fine dining, mini-golf, antiquing, multi-theater, Siren beach & 'Music in Park'. Wildlife! You'll return.
This is like nothing else you'll see or visit on this entire site. Experience the art of living more fully by cutting off commonality and grow emotionally by getting back in touch with unfettered nature. Sit and lean up against a huge tree just feet from the spring-fed creek and watch it flow over the sandy bottom even in the snow of winter. 'Now you're talking' - without saying a word. Be quiet enough to hear the owl or loon sing right into your soul.
We live across the creek and upstream yet far from you. Why after traveling the world did we end up here? Handy to the grandkids in White Bear Lake, yet a rare and raw piece of wilderness. For you? Close enough to get here quickly. Yet, an environmental 180 that is needed to put life back in balance. Hopefully, you'll find it hard to leave and easy to come back for another recharge.

Remote, tranquil, quiet and exceedingly private getaway right on the banks of a protected river, only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! Even the beautiful drive there is relaxing. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. Make delicious meals in a well stocked high-end modern kitchen, play in the river, relax in the sauna or enjoy a bonfire. This is not your typical cabin but a spiritual eco-oasis with a unique eclectic blend of modern, rustic, Native American and Japanese aesthetic.
UPDATE: We are paying extra attention to cleaning and sanitizing this space. Our housekeeper Joann takes great pride in making sure every surface is sanitized for your safety. I have also reduced the price to help those in need of a place to self-quarantine. This is the perfect getaway, remote yet accessible, to get out of harms way and stay safe for a few relaxing days! Modern yet rustic, but not at all primitive, the cabin was built not only for maximum energy-efficiency, but with much care in providing a safe, non-toxic, all-natural environment. Comfortable sleeping spaces are provided with several options including a small private bedroom, a large futon in the living room under the skylights by the wood stove, or a small futon on the screen porch by the banks of the river. An easy scenic drive from the Twin Cities and its extremely tranquil and private setting, this is the perfect location for personal retreats for artists, writers, yoga practitioners, people in the healing arts or anyone in need of personal, spiritual or artistic creative rejuvenation. This is ideally suited to singles and couples looking a quiet getaway or personal retreat. Perfect for a romantic getaway! The long winding driveway leads to secluded, heavily wooded grounds that have many Japanese garden touches but are kept in a mostly natural state. Facilities include a large well-stocked modern kitchen with 6 burner professional stove, full bathroom with hot and cold running water and claw-foot tub (there is enough hot water for a shower but not enough to fill the tub unless heated supplementally on gas stove), gas heat, electricity, phone, wireless high-speed internet, modern wood-burning stove, 7 skylights, wood-fired sauna, screen porch on the river bank, an attached wooden deck with gas grill along the river, a gazebo (great for yoga), hammock (great for reading/napping), a large fire-pit with lots of wood provided, photo library and a high-resolution audio system with a great CD collection and wireless music streaming capabilities. This forest oasis alongside a protected trout stream is surrounded by hundreds of heavily wooded acres. Enjoy the rarity of total privacy- no one else is within sight or sound. The Trade River is very clean with a nice shallow, sand bottom is perfect for swimming, wading or frolicking. Or just sunbathe on the dock, clothing optional! • All electricity is produced by solar farms and bought from our local electric co-op. • All cleaning supplies are natural, non-toxic, chemical and dye free. • All new linens and towels are organic cotton (some old ones still in use while we phase in) It is built to accommodate more than 2 people but I like to keep it available for solo retreats and couples rather than larger groups. There is also a separate hand-built log cabin on the premises. The log cabin will not be occupied during your stay but can be rented additionally at https://airbnb.com/h/authenticlogcabin. To maintain a retreat-like atmosphere we only allow one or two guests at a time. Also, due to past guest abuse, we no longer allow pets. If you are traveling with pets or have more than two guests please check out my other nearby Airbnb cabin: the Wood River Retreat https://airbnb.com/h/woodriverretreat "Retreat to move forward" -Pico Iyer
Located far off the road at the end of a long winding driveway. While lake cabins can be like being in a goldfish bowl with no privacy; we have total seclusion on the river with no neighbors within sight or sound. We are surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest filled with many deer, fox, owl, wild turkeys, coyotes, otters, beaver, the occasional bear and much other wildlife.

Gorgeous wooded acreage gives privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from Minneapolis, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat. Osceola is a great small town with charming businesses and easy access to hiking, biking, and snowmobiling and ATV trails. We strive to make every newcomer welcome whether it be Airbnb guests or new neighbors—all in the name of small town hospitality. Although large box stores aren’t part of our local culture, we’re conveniently situated 10 minutes south of St. Croix Falls which offers easy one-stop shops, 30 minutes from larger towns such as Hudson, WI and Forest Lake, MN, and under 1 hour from the sprawling Twin Cities. Here’s the breakdown— One block away from laundry, two blocks from the grocery store, and a couple more from unique downtown shops, restaurants, Cascade Falls, and our very own dinner train. A few minute drive out of town to the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, Interstate Park, Wisconsin rustic scenic trails, Trollhaugen skiing and adventure park, and what Wisconsin is best known for—rolling hills and homegrown agriculture and farms. Less than an hour drive to St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota—both offering great venues for eating, shopping, and entertainment. Need more space or have more guests? A unique urban loft that is close to Wild Mountain; Trollhaugen; Festival Theater; the Ice Age Trailhead; Interstate Park in WI and MN; the Gandy Dancer Trail; the Woolly Mountain Bike Trail; Cyclova Bike Shop; the St Croix River; Osceola; cafe, bars, and small grocery store within walking distance.. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the uniqueness, the location, & the private cafe table outside.
This is a small studio apartment with a private bathroom with toilet, vanity, and stand-up shower. The thermostat controls for the heat are in the bathroom. AC unit for the main room. There is a small kitchenette, dresser, hangers, TV, Wi-Fi, and access to a stone patio. Right off of main street in downtown St Croix Falls. Guest access You will be given an electronic keycode and instructions to use this lock system the morning of check-in. You will use this keycode to lock and unlock the main door to the apartment. You may check-in without meeting us (which is why we are flexible on check-in time) but if you need anything, we are close by and can help you with anything. Other things to note There are three apartments we rent out at the Luminaries Building so if you are traveling with others and want to stay together, please also check out the listings for The Artist's Loft and The Peacock Loft. There is also a patio that anyone can sit on and enjoy. Although we are off of Main Street, road noise is usually limited in the Copper Room but feel free to bring a fan or earplugs if very sensitive to noise - we want you to have a great sleep! This is a unique room and has exposed copper pipes (which is why it is decorated in a copper theme!) - please note that there may be small water-trickling sounds coming up the pipes (the room has 12 foot ceilings though so they are high-up) above. Do not be alarmed - this is normal. We just want you to be aware before booking so this doesn't upset you. Also, this apartment only has a small partial kitchen: Fridge, microwave, sink, and cupboards. No range/stove/oven. Plenty of room to store fresh/dry food for a weekened/week though.
In western Wisconsin, St. Croix Falls has become a destination for people who want to go places. It's the western terminus of the 1,000-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail, which traces the last glacier as it began to melt and retreat northward, leaving a marvelously lumpy patchwork of rock, rubble and river gorges. It's the southern trailhead of the 48-mile Gandy Dancer State Trail, a scenic crushed-limestone bicycle trail named for the rail workers who rhythmically swung pickaxes and hammers made by the Gandy Tool Co. And it's the headquarters of the 252-mile St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, with a new visitors center that helps paddlers plan trips from the Namekagon to the St. Croix's confluence with the Mississippi. There are another 12 trails in Interstate State Park, which became Wisconsin's first state park in 1900 and is the start of the Ice Age Trail.

While being on a lake can be like being in a goldfish bowl with no privacy, our river setting has total privacy and has no other homes within sight. The cabin sits atop a beautiful ravine along the Wood River. There is a nice wide path along the top of the ravine that leads to a steep rope-lined incline down to the river, get for the adventurous to explore! The cabin is approximately 1.5 miles from the St Croix River, a Nationally designated Wild & Scenic River. Canoe and kayak rental services are available only one mile away on Hwy 70. The nearby area includes many excellent hiking, biking, and ski trails accessible to all ages. Brandt Pines is a favorite location and is just a couple miles north. Grocery stores and restaurants in Grantsburg are just a mile or two east. Crex Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary draws people from all over the country for spectacular bird watching and is just on the other side of Grantsburg. However, just staying home at the cabin around a coxy fire and chilling out or adventuring down the ravine to the river is also a great option.

Recommande fortement. :)

(See listing photos and here is a 5/24/19 guest's review!! "You will not be disappointed. This place has it all. It's close to amenities and other cabins but it's a fenced and gated peninsula so it feels secluded and secure. Bring the children. We spent three nights and our wild bunch never got bored even without ever turning on the TV. Paddle boats, kayaks, a canoe, yard games, two fire rings and the pontoon boat. I so wish I could post a picture of the pontoon, it's the most beautiful little boat I have ever seen. Jim is a true craftsman. Every detail of the restoration is perfect. Every time we took it out we felt like an Oriole in a flock of sparrows. At night it just glows, Jim added LEDs under the canopy and also above the pontoons. Everything is so clean and expertly maintained, the house, property and equipment. One thing I was suprised about is that they didn't nickel and dime us. They charge just enough to make it worthwhile so the value is amazing. I know I've paid twice as much for half the fun. Thank you Jeanette and Jim. We never do the same thing twice but for this we will.")
The location is just 5 miles off the freeway for easy freeway access yet far enough to be quiet and peaceful. This place is in a secure location with a fence and gate. Our neighbors are wonderful on both sides and down the block. There is Flick-a-birds for a great burger or Cafe Stuga for a home cooked meal. Cambridge is just 10 minutes west for groceries, eating and shopping. Mostly, you will just want to be at the cabin. So Enjoy!!
