Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy! Other things to note We like to keep our classes small & intimate so our clients get the most out of the experience. Therefore, we kindly request if you are in a group, please book under the one person. If this isn't possible, please do message us, so we can ensure you are kept together for the experience! :)

Maisons irlandaises : architecture et histoire
*Fantastic Dublin you become informed about the history the architecture the hidden secrets and you feel the energy of the streets and it touches your heart.* REVIEW We will begin on Henrietta St, the first Dublin Georgian street built and examine the Grandeur of these 1700's mansions. Dublin was wealthy and considered the second City of the old British Empire. The parliament closed in Dublin in 1801 then these fine houses fell into decline. From one family in the house a whole family had one room. Who tried to alleviate the hardship of famine refugees or profit by it? A home for many is an apartment but in the past many people lived communally in Convents, Abbeys and laundries and we will see a convent which was the home of a developer. Green St Courthouse has a fascinating and varied history, the trials people faced, when there was no CCTV or forensics with swift trials & transportation or worse. The Dublin Fruit and Veg Markets built 1892 for sellers to be out of the cold it is a vast and beautiful building where many tenement women worked. We will cross the Liffey to see Medieval Fishamble St birthplace of Molly Malone. Winetavern St was the Viking core and find the writing on the ground! We will finish at a spying pub where information was gathered during the War of Independence by Michael Collins to organise Bloody Sunday. Intelligence was our key to success.

Kayak de mer jusqu'à Dalkey Island
We kayak along the coastline from Killiney beach towards the Sorrento Terrace. From there we cross Dalkey Sound, a strip of water between Dalkey and the Island. We usually see plenty of cormerants, sea gulls and other sea birds on the island, but probably the most famous wild life we will see is a herd of wild goats that have lived on the island for over 100 years. These along with plenty of rabbits and hopefully some seals offer opportunities for some unusual photos. Dalkey Island has an incredibly chequered history for a place that is so small. The church on the island is dedicated to Saint Begnet, it dates back to the eleventh century. The fireplace in it is from the time of the fort on the island and Martello tower. The original windows in the church are arranged in a very strange way and it’s thought that it relates to the keeping of a solar calendar. Behind the church is a curious stone, marked with a cross. It’s thought that this stone may have been a very ancient pagan stone that has been ‘Christianized’. It has evidence of having a carved circle on it but sadly it is now weathered so much that it is difficult to make out the shapes on it. Other things to note - Swim wear (to put on under the wetsuit) - Sports wear and trainers - Towel - Change of clothes
Lin éco-imprimé avec des feuilles trouvées à Killiney Hill
Join me for a wholesome afternoon foraging in nature with spectacular sea views ending with a fun eco printing session in a local pub. Create your own print from Irish leaves on authentic Irish linen and bring it home as a decorative piece of art or wear as a trendy scarf! Our journey begins at the base of Killiney Hill, a beloved public park nestled beside the quaint seaside village of Dalkey. Only half an hour from the city, these woodlands are well worth a visit and you will earn great insight from me as a deep-rooted local! I will guide you through the woods as we gather leaves, such as oak and blackberry, to be used in our printing session. After a leisurely hike to the Obelisk at the top of the hill, take in dazzling views of Dublin Bay and its mountains...I might even point out a few tree tops from the backyard of a certain U2 frontman’s humble abode! Your foraging trip will end back at the base of the hill in the cosy and picturesque Druid's Chair Pub, where I will guide you in the centuries old technique of eco printing. You will create a one-of-a-kind design that is not only beautiful but also friendly to the environment. Each piece is a reflection of the natural world and the colours and patterns found in it, making them truly special and meaningful. A superb way to create a lasting reminder of your trip to Ireland and a great day at the edge of the Irish sea.

Balade en kayak de mer autour de Bray Head
We kayak along the coastline from Bray beach heading out around the cliffs south towards Greystones. The trip follows the coastline below the train line to Wexford and just below the famous cliff walk to Greystones. For those of you who have done this walk it gives a completely different view of the cliffs from below. The train enters a mile long tunnel through the hill before exiting out the far side amongst some farm land just outside Greystones. This rail line has had to be moved several times due to coastal erosion and the risk of it collapsing into the sea. Bray is a coastal town which used to be a holiday destination for the wealthy families coming out in the summer from the city. The prom is a famous landmark in the town and has just been refurbished in the last few years back to its original form, with seatings along the most of its length. We usually see plenty of cormorants, seagulls and other sea birds on the cliffs, and hopefully some seals offer opportunities for some unusual photos. We stop in a small beach area in the base of the cliffs for some refreshments before kayaking back towards Bray. Other things to note - Swim wear (to put on under the wetsuit) - Sports wear and trainers - Towel - Change of clothes

À la recherche de la Guinness parfaite dans des pubs méconnus
Finding the Perfect Guinness in Dublin. I have been hosting a traditional Irish music tour for over 5 years on Air BNB. I also talk about Guinness on this tour but I want to do a tour that specialises in Guinness and the perfect pint. I have a lot of experience with this. I grew up in a family-run hotel serving Guinness all my life. We will visit 3 or 4 pubs off the beaten track. My aim is to provide you with best Guinness and pubs off the tourist trail that locals frequent with lots of personality and history. We will have 4 glasses in 4 different pubs or 2 glasses and a pint in 3 pubs depending on what people prefer. Discussion on how the pint is poured. Different aspects like temperature of the pint How important a clean dry glass is for the perfect pint. . Each pub will have its own history and unique atmosphere All in Dublin City Walk to each I have been looking for the perfect pint for years and I think I have found 4 of the best ones. Tourists would need guidance.
