Our first stop, after a short drive from picking you up: fresh & energized for adventure, from a pre-arranged central (town) Tulum location, will be the Archeological Zone of Tulum-Mayan Port City Ruins. 
Through the mysterious, well-preserved, ruins of temples surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, where we will be watched by the many inquisitive iguana that now call this temple home. During our exploration of the grounds I will share with you some of the known/unknown, story of the Maya, one of the most advanced and sophisticated cultures, our world has ever known, 
A short drive away from the temple is Tulum Beach where we will go by boat, piloted by Mayan guides, out to the 2nd largest coral reef on the planet, The Great Mayan Reef, where you will snorkel with brightly coloured fish of all sizes and also with the resident reef Manta Rays and Turtles!. 
Following our amazing reef snorkel, we will leave Tulum and visit one of the areas 160 nearby publicly accessible cenotes, I will explain what cenotes are, and how vital they are to the ecology for the peninsula, will jump from the edge of this hidden crystal clear water hole or perhaps just have a relaxing snorkel

This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. My town is located: -20-25 mins approx. from Tulum (downtown) -35-40 mins approx. from Playa del Carmen (downtown) -2 hrs. approx. from Cancun (downtown) If you don’t have a car, or don’t know how to get to this place, please feel free to contact me to get more recommendations on transportation you can use. Ancient culinary techniques, fresh ingredients, tortillas made from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico, everything is set and carefully curated for a cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our Mesoamerican civilizations. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! Vous aurez une rencontre très rapprochée avec divers animaux. Conformément aux directives des Nations Unies concernant le bien-être des animaux sauvages, il n'y aura pas d'interaction directe avec eux. Vous pourrez vous rapprocher suffisamment et vous apprendrez avec les explications sur chacun d'eux. Vous pourrez connaître l'arbre toxique, l'arbre médecin, l'arbre à gomme et autres. Vous planterez un arbre dans la jungle améliorant ainsi votre empreinte écologique. Vous rencontrerez l'abeille melipona sans dard et vous pourrez déguster son miel et en apprendre un peu plus sur la pollinisation et la vie et les coutumes de cet insecte récemment déclaré par l'ONU l'être vivant le plus important de la planète. Après la visite, nous commencerons un petit voyage le long d'un chemin dans la jungle jusqu'à atteindre un magnifique cenote souterrain à 200 mètres où vous pourrez plonger et nager dans ses eaux illuminées et cristallines.

Nous prenons la route pour visiter un des plus beau marché de fruits et légumes de la région. Nous allons explorer le centre d'une ville coloniale et après nous serons en route vers un village Maya haut en couleur et perdu de la civilization. Nous serons accueilli par nos amis d'une vrai famille Maya. Nous visiterons leur maison, leur jardin et plein d'autres endroits. Ensuite nous allons cuisiner, avec l'aide de la grand-mère maya, des recettes ancestrales, nous ferons des tortillas de maïs et plein d'autres spécialités. We meet up at GoMart in downtown Tulum if you have a vehicle, or pick you up at your hotel for an additional cost if you need transportation. We drive out 12km north on the main highway, then into a jungle road another 3km to our final destination. The cenote area we visit is known to be part of the Sistema Sac Actun, the largest underground cave system in the world. You will be able to discover a semi open cenote with two caves.
