Logements pour rester à Whidbey Island
Our Swedish inspired forest cabin is the perfect peaceful get away for nature lovers! This rustic cabin is nestled in a fairy-tale like forest setting, and is just a short way to an amazing private community beach. Come visit the island you can drive to! Our cabin is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, beach walkers, and those seeking to unplug. Set on 3.5 acres, our guests enjoy privacy, and access nearby community-owned beach, which is a short drive or walk away.
This rustic, secluded cabin is an ideal weekend getaway: Camano Island connects to the mainland via bridge. It is a 70 mile drive from downtown Seattle, (usually about 1.5 hours), but feels a world away. This is the perfect spot for a couple's get away, girlfriend's reunion, or small family. Parties and after hours noise are discouraged. If you are looking for a larger space please check out our new "Puget Sound View Cabin + Beach". It shares the same amazing beach as this, but features a gorgeous water view and two bedrooms. Please take a peek at the adventures at both cabins on our Instagram page. We are camano.cabins. The Forest Cabin features wide-plank pine floors, a full kitchen, and charming gas stove with a window. The sleeping loft is accessed by secure ladder and features a queen bed with down comforter and all cotton bedding. Downstairs there is a convertible sofa bed that is great for kids - extra bedding is provided. While we do allow up to four guests please note: this is a small space ideal for two adults. The sofa bed is great for kids, but extra adults may not find it a comfortable alternative to a 'real bed'. The kitchen has been thoughtfully appropriated with a French coffee press, a variety of pots, pans, and utensils. We have tried to cover all the basics and you'll find some food staples to use such as oil, salt, and pepper. Please enjoy our collection favorite games and books. Pet Policy Dogs welcome with permission (not allowed on furniture, please clean-up pet waste, and sweep/vacuum up pet hair). A pet fee of $20 will be billed upon checking out, or you may leave payment upon checking out. The following conditions apply: no more than 2 dogs, owners clean up inside and outside after the dog(s), the dogs are under the owners' control both at the beach and the cabin, no dogs on the furniture or in the sleeping loft. The cabin sits on a very private 3.5 wooded acres with trails throughout. A private community-owned sandy beach is a short but steep, 10-15 minute walk on the road, or a couple minutes by car. The beach is sheltered, and faces west to Whidbey Island. The Saratoga Passage hosts abundant wildlife, fishing, and beautiful sunsets. We have the beach completely to ourselves, more often than not! In summer you can pick berries, fish, swim, and catch crab. We've got beach umbrellas and sitting mats for you to use. (Please bring your own beach towels if you want one.) Watch the gray whale migration in Spring. In winter, bundle up and see how far along the driftwood-strewn shore you can walk. Please note that there is a short but steep path/trail to get on the beach. It's about the height of a short flight of stairs, but dirt. Guests with limited mobility may only be able to access the beach when the tide is low and one can walk on to the beach via the boat ramp. There is a fully accessible place to sit and enjoy the view above the beach path for those not able or wanting to access the beach. Our guests always comment on how quiet and peaceful our cabin is, and we could not agree more. The stress of city life just melts away and time seems to slow down a bit when you've got nothing on your agenda but to build a fire, open a bottle of wine or take a walk. You'll be surprised what a couple of days away can do! The cabin is about 1.5 hours from Seattle, 1.5 hours from the Anacortes/San Juan Ferry, 45 minutes from Mount Vernon and the Skagit Valley. Check in time is any time after 3:00. Check out of the cabin is 11AM, but you're welcome to use the beach all day. If you need to make other check in/out arrangements I will be flexible if possible. You'll find several good grocery stores on the way in Stanwood to stock up on provisions. The Elger Bay market is 5 miles away with basics, fishing supplies and gas. They also fill growlers of beer and we have an empty growler for your use at the cabin. We keep our guest interaction to a minimum because most guests are looking for a secluded get-away. We are happy to give advice on the area, and will answer questions and concerns promptly. The community of Summerland is a collection of homes and cabins on wooded and beach-front lots. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet with community access to one of the best beaches on the island! Stanwood, LaConner, and Mount Vernon are close enough for dinner with fantastic restaurant choices. Please note: There is no wifi or internet service. We have a strong cell signal with AT&T. Guests with other carriers report good service, especially at the beach. Additionally, please note that this is NOT a luxury vacation rental - while we do keep the cabin maintained to a high standard, you may see a spider, ant or such. The cabin is located in an untamed forest setting: bugs, mice, deer, birds, stinging nettles and everything that makes the Great Northwest wild exist here at the cabin. Here's a partial list of what we have at the cabin for your use: French Press hair dryer complete kitchen with toaster microwave oven ice bedding bath towels beach rug (please bring your own beach towels) beach umbrellas that screw into the sand small charcoal bbq basic toiletries & first aid deck chairs
Camano Island has a handful of good restaurants and pubs, two state parks, thrift and antiques shopping, and more. A great low-key island to explore!

Merci Elizabeth.

Imagine a bright, clean, custom-built cottage, with wrap-around deck, separated from our main house by a shared courtyard garden. Then add the hot-tub and acres of quiet just a 5-minute drive from the beach or 15 minutes from the wonderful shops & restaurants of Langley. Truly the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway...
The cottage is perfect for a couple or a single visitor. In a pinch, we can provide a foam mattress to put on the floor for a child traveling with you. The built-in bookshelves are stocked with a wide range of favorites and the private back deck—just right for a summer siesta—looks out on a sloping meadow.
Our property is at the very end of a quiet 1/2-mile long, unpaved road, so expect to hear owls and frogs at night and birds in the morning. Even with our quiet location, you'll only be minutes from many of the best spots on the island.

    - "A miniature paradise for the two of us" - "Such a magical property, slice of heaven" - "This was by far my best experience that I've ever had!." The Quintessa Cottage is perfect for romantic honeymoons, quiet getaways, and intimate celebrations.
Luxuriate on beautiful and friendly Whidbey Island! Enjoy your morning coffee with deer in the lawn and the resident eagle overhead. Cook a delicious dinner in fully equipped kitchens and eat out on the decks overlooking the gardens with a view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. End your day with breathtaking sunsets! Two flat screens TVs with approx. 200+ channels are available for your entertainment. * Please contact us if you need more space than what the Cottage offers. We now have an adjacent studio that we rent out only to our Cottage guests. This 20 x 17 sq ft Studio ($100 plus tax) includes one queen, one queen futon, 55” TV with 200+ channels, a billiard / ping pong table and one full bath. Because of the games table, we rent this space only as an add-on to the Cottage. French doors lead to a private deck with BBQ. As with the Cottage, the Studio overlooks The Quintessa gardens with a glimpse of distant marine views. We can provide you with videos, more photos, a list of fun activities, detailed rate information, as well as floor plans and individual room accommodations!

Spoiled Dog Winery and Whidbey Island Distillery are both close by. Take a drive to nearby Langley, The Village by the Sea, featuring a vintage movie house, live music and theater, eclectic boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, bookstores, and fabulous food! Enjoy neighborhood farm fresh eggs when available. Both the Calvary Church and a 9-hole golf course are up the road. Walk the trail at the Maxwelton Salmon Classroom down the road!

Stay at Sunset Beach Cottage and taste the pervasive charm, the freshness of beautiful summer nights, breath the salty ebb and flow of the tide, and the sky dusted with stars is radiant Beachside vacation Rental on South Whidbey Island at Maxwelton Beach, Useless Bay in Admiralty Inlet. Relax to the lapping tide on Useless Bay and view the sunsets over Admiralty Inlet and the Olympic Mountain Range. Watch as the ships pass through the shipping lanes of Puget Sound... All sales are final.
Enjoy a Beachside vacation Rental on South Whidbey Island at Maxwelton Beach. Relax, walk, smell and taste the sea air. Watch the Eagles dance and the Great Blue Heron lift their wings. Experience the sky change hues at sunset. Dig clams, kayak, beachside fire and patio. As featured in the Seattle Times: "COZY COTTAGE FOR YOUR ISLAND GETAWAY" The driftwood was strewn about like Tinker Toys and the sandy beach had washed ashore a myriad of shells and treasures. I'd sipped coffee at my beachside cabin while watching the sun glint off the Olympics. Now, on one of the coldest, grayest, wettest mornings of the year for the rest of the NW, here I was walking along a cloudless, sun-filled stretch of tideland known as Maxwelton Beach, watching a stranger chase his yellow Lab in and out of the surf as if it were mid-September. It seemed a world away from Seattle - yet close enough I could be back, if I wanted, in time for lunch. For Seattle-area residents looking for a winter weekend getaway they can reach without actually going far, it's hard to top Sunset Beach Cottage. Tucked inside the rain shadow of the Olympics, Whidbey Island can seem like a veritable desert oasis in winter, noticeably warmer and brighter, even, than towns just 20 miles away. Welcome to Sunset Beach Cottage in Maxwelton: Located near the island's southern tip, it promised sunset views of the Olympic Mountains and a private beach. And the owners were accommodating, promising to leave the key on the kitchen table and allowing me to check in at 7 am. While I'd learned over the years to do my homework and keep expectations low, Sunset Beach Cottage was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were carpeted and wood paneled, with a 1950's feel. The online pictures were a good representation - which isn't always the case. There were mountain views form the kitchen and the bedroom, and the beach was 10 feet from the door. The owners had left a long note suggesting everything from restaurants to a nearby golf course that charged $10 for nine holes. The closet was stocked with rubber boots for shell collecting and clam digging and slippers for the evenings. (Craig Welch, Seattle Times) Note: Sunset Beach Cottage has a non-refundable cancellation. Once you book, your reservation is non-refundable. This policy is different and stricter than the Airbnb policy. Our cancellation policy allows no refunds on cancellation. There is a $25 fee per night per extra guest above two, including infants. Not suitable for infants - please list infants as children. Must advise host upon inquiry and prior to booking that there is a pet. Pets are subject to approval and by arrangement. There is a fee for pets of $25 per pet per night.
This vacation rental is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! 7 steps to the sand to low-bank waterfront. Beach walking is infinite both North and South on firm, sandy beaches. Maxwelton Park, right on the beach is 1/4 mi stroll down the beach or on Maxwelton Rd. Outdoor Salmon Adventure is a quarter mile drive north on Maxwelton Rd - Forest, Maxwelton Creek, Education on salmon, short trails. Island Greens Golf course is 1 mile up French Rd (N on Maxwelton; 1st Right on French). 9 hole, 3 par, located in serene forests of South Whidbey Island. Rated as one of the Best Courses of it's type in the Northwest. Public driving range too.

Secluded in 25 acres of gorgeous natural surroundings and featuring a private hot tub, this dog-friendly log cabin is just what you need for your next vacation for two! Just south of the tiny town of Greenbank, your rental is just a short distance from essentials at Greenbank Store, while back at home, you can marvel at the swaying pine trees of the surrounding property (there are four other cabins nearby). Inside, wooden floors, walls, and ceiling beams, along with stonework surrounding the fireplace and historic photographs, give the cabin a rustic, low-key atmosphere. Kick back on an armchair or snuggle up with your sweetheart on the couch as you take in cable on the TV or watch the crackling fire. The cozy kitchen has all the modern appliances and wooden cabinetry you need to whip up a romantic dinner. Set the table for two and afterwards, thanks to the dishwasher, cleaning up is quick and easy. Two guests can stay in this one-bedroom cabin, with a plush king-size bed complete with lovely bedside tables and a stained-glass window. Wake up and shower (or enjoy a decadent bubble bath!) in the bathroom before waking your sweetheart up with some coffee. Small, isolated beaches make Whidbey Island a great place for spending time as a couple, but don't spend so much time by the sea that you forget about the nearby destinations worth visiting! The quirky community of Freeland is just seven miles south, while the hustle and bustle of Coupeville is only 12 miles north. If you really want to take your getaway to the next level, head another 30 miles to Anacortes, where you can explore the San Juan Islands and Victoria, Canada! Don't delay - place your reservation today and show the person you love the most an unforgettable experience! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

If you need a 24-hour store you will find a Safeway in the town of Anacortes, a 20 minute drive from the cabin. Just outside of Anacortes is the ferry terminal (30 minutes from the Coho Cabin) that takes you to the San Juan Islands and Victoria, B.C., Canada. Also outside of Anacortes is the Swinomish Casino, less than a 20 minute drive away. Mt Vernon and Burlington, which are on the I-5 corridor (25-30 minutes from the Coho Cabin) offer your standard variety of stores... Costco, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Haggen, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Subway, McDonalds, Olive Garden, Kohls, Marshalls, Target, Best Buy, Petco, Petsmart and many others.

The couch also folds out into a full-size bed with a futon mattress. The kitchen includes a propane stovetop, kettle & french press, stovetop toaster, a mini-fridge with a freezer, and everything you need to cook a meal. A small bathroom is located in the back with a hot shower, small tub (for washing children or doggies), and a waterless top-of-the-line composting toilet (eco-friendly and off-grid). You might need to empty the urine chamber in the toilet every few days, but it’s easy. Or, if you prefer, pee in the woods and don’t worry about it! It’s that private out here! “Solids” chamber of the toilet you don’t have to worry about. For warmth, there is electric heat, or a gorgeous stainless steel wood stove. Outside you can enjoy large covered porch with comfy furniture and gorgeous string lights - the perfect place to sip your morning coffee. There is also an outdoor fire pit (chiminea) with folding camp chairs & marshmallow roasting sticks, a propane bbq, zen area, a few short hiking trails, and a wood chopping area where you are welcome to gather and chop your own wood. A new addition is a macrame swing! A real woodsy getaway! Friendly pets are allowed, but please keep them on leash and clean up after them. There are a few friendly off leash dogs on the property. They mostly stay away from the tiny house, but there is a chance you could encounter them. Please make sure your dog is friendly with others.
This Tiny House is parked on the forested portion of a working farm. You will feel like you have your own private oasis. Langley is only a 5 minute drive, and the Clinton ferry is only 2 miles away. There is a lot to see and do on this beautiful island. Recommendations for wineries, shops, restaurants, beaches, hikes and more will be provided in the house manual.

Come to Peaceful Place in Langley on Whidbey Island! This beautiful serene cabin in the woods is perfect for a writer's retreat, weekend getaway, or a quiet locale to unplug and recharge in nature. Peaceful Place cabin is a cozy modern yet rustic place where you can set aside the day to day shuffle and relax with a book, have a lovely bath in a secluded outdoor sanctuary, and just unwind. You can of course cook, bake, and fix yourself a lovely meal in the fully stocked kitchen.
Our cabin has brand new wide-plank pine floors that are Swedish finished and offers a very clean, calm, and open space. There is a kitchen table with four chairs available and some stools for the kitchen nook for your early morning coffee and breakfast. The cabin will be stocked with coffee, creamer, and is also very close to Bayview where we have our favorite local grocery store, the Goose. We have a nice pathway through the surrounding woods where you can take a walk anytime. The home is both tucked away in the woods where you will get the privacy of a true retreat and close enough to the town of Langley where you can sightsee, find great little shops, and fine dining. But if you'd prefer to stay put, you can enjoy this little cabin in the woods which is heated and perfectly suited for cozying up in.
Our neighborhood is tucked in woods and our property is located at the very end of a private road about one mile away from a great little trailhead for day hikes. We have great neighbors whom we don't see too often unless we make an explicit effort. In other words, we are a quiet little retreat in the woods with as much personal interaction as you wish or don't wish. Great for writers, artists, and those who simply need some time away!

Here is a video featuring this yurt retreat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wm7I2LPimo NOTES: The yurt is in the woods, on a farm, in a rural setting. That means while you may be able to fall asleep to the cooing of great horned owls outside and the soft sound of rain falling on the dome above, you may also hear the sound of roosters crowing in the morning. The yurt is on the south end of the island which is made up of many idyllic farms, homesteads, and forests. Animal sounds are part of the beauty in this space and way of life. The outdoor shower has propane heated hot water but the sink inside the yurt and outhouse do not have a hot water. The outhouse has a Nature’s Head composting toilet. It looks and acts like a flush toilet with a few modifications. They are clean, efficient, easy to use and not smelly. Brief instructions are provided to ensure you have a wonderful experience. To keep with the nature based experience, we do not have WiFi or a tv. There are several cafes and coffee shops with internet access nearby and even a coworks space.

CDC cleaning recommendations followed. This tiny cabin is located on a high bank/bluff waterfront lot in an old, weekend fishing camp, subdivision. Neighborhood is a bit shabby, but safe & quiet. 192 square feet of bright interior space, with french doors that open onto a large view deck. Kitchen, tile shower, large flat screen, wifi, twin day bed for lounging/sleeping, washer/dryer. There is a tenant in the 5th wheel. Dogs have been here. Small trailer is my sometimes home.
This 192 square foot tiny house is perfect for one, harbor view, large deck. Everything is new. I chose large, high quality appliances, and a custom tile shower to give the tiny house a luxurious feel. Rather than the 8' width imposed on tiny houses with wheels, I chose a 12'X16' footprint. No loft. I selected a vaulted ceiling, a big wall of windows and added a large deck to make this tiny feel expansive. I moved out of the tiny house for the summer and placed a little trailer between the tiny house and the fence line. This does not infringe upon your privacy, as the trailer is set back several feet further from the bluff and so no windows look onto your deck or living space. I have been loving the idea of living in a tiny house for several years, and with my brothers help, this dream came true! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Downtown Freeland, a 2 mile drive, features a public park with beach access and boat launch. Located just 10 miles from the popular seaside town of Langley, the area offers scenic parks and trails, wonderful restaurants, and is 12 to the Mukilteo / Whidbey Island Ferry. For dog lovers, the is an off leash beach 5 miles away, and a beautiful expansive off leash area at Green bank farm.

We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating 'Retreat' or Get-A-Way in our Tree Home Suite on Whidbey Island WA...just 1 hour north of Seattle. Our nurturing gift to you is providing delicious and nutritious continental breakfasts every morning you are here. You'll surely transend the bustle of busy life and be transformed as you immerse yourselves in this incredibly peaceful and healing environment. Enjoy 'full-circle' views of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home with a gorgeous cedar tree going straight up through the center of the living space! A solid stairway travels 13 ft above the ground, leading to the 10' x 12' covered deck and your doorway to heavenly rest and retreat! Surround windows and skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it's like to be completely immersed in a beautiful, serene, healing forest of cedar, fir, hemlock, maple, alders, varieties of fern...and oh...enjoy watching and listening to our 'resident' deer, owls, ravens, eagles and many other birds. Look up through the skylight roof peak to behold a seemingly unending kaleidoscope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky. Be sure to see all the photos posted above including views of the beach, water and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.....easily accessible, less than 1/2 mile away. This gem is best suitable for adults, but we do allow children 12 and older too. Three adults can manage better than 4 because the hide-a-bed is a 'half-way-between-twin-and-double' size. However it has slats and an excellent quality foam mattress so it does not have the typical hide-a-bed 'bars' to contend with, nor does it sink in the middle. We provide single-sized, thick and dense foam pads and linens when needed for extra people. Please feel free to ask us how we can best meet your unique needs. Accommodations in the one Tree House include: Queen Bed, "Sort of" Double Hide-a-bed Sofa (see paragraph above), Desk, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, TV moniter for viewing DVD's/VHS. A thermostatically controlled radiator heater AND electric 'Fireplace' add warmth and ambiance. We provide a fridge (with freezer), microwave, dishes and silverware for prep and eating simple meals, warmed up left-overs, etc. We just don't allow 'cooking', using hot plates or fry pans, etc.... The fire pit may be used to enjoy a campfire and grill or roast hamburgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. Substantial cooking here with your own cooking equipment is not encouraged, because that would require more extensive 'clean-up' than just a few dishes and utensils Our drain field is small and we want to keep the flow of gray water into it 'frugal' and biodegradable as much as possible. We provide a tasty continental breakfast to enjoy at your leisure. Your own private (and VERY cute) Shower House just a few footsteps away provides a shower, sink and state-of-the-art, no-odor composting toilet. We do have a porta-potty (marine type) on the deck of the Tree House for the middle-of-the-night needs so you don't have to trudge down in the dark to the composting toilet in the Shower House. Please read the house rules before you reserve to see if this type of accommodation is right for you.

Enjoy amazing western views across the Saratoga Passage from our gorgeous, newly built two-bedroom cabin. Camano Island is an easy drive from Seattle or Vancouver, but feels remote. Our modern cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, but large enough for 4 guests. The cabin sits high above a stunning beach - just a short walk or drive away - considered to be one of the island's best! Quiet and private with unobstructed views, the cabin features custom touches and is thoughtfully outfitted.
We are excited to share our new cabin with like-minded folks who want to enjoy a beautiful and quiet retreat, gorgeous sunsets from the covered porch, or a walk along a deserted beach. This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind! The cabin sits on a large waterfront high bank lot - private and quiet. Modern sensibilities match rustic flair in our well appointed space outfitted with quality linens, thoughtful additions, and stocked with everything you'll need for a wonderful get away. Lofty and filled with light, the cabin features custom touches throughout: fir floors, custom planked counters, a full kitchen, and luxurious tiled bathroom with an oversized shower. Cook a meal in our thoughtfully designed kitchen, cozy up in front of the gas stove, or build a fire in the fire pit outside and enjoy the view. Our cabin is immaculately clean, new, and furnished beautifully- a true retreat! Each bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with all-cotton bedding and comforters. The cabin is also stocked with fresh white towels, organic bath products, and beach gear - beach umbrellas, beach blankets, and frisbee. (Please bring your own beach towels if you want one.) There is no tv or wifi at the cabin, although there is cell service. If you are looking for a smaller space we have a rustic cabin in the woods that is nearby. Please check it out if a secluded cabin with a sleeping loft better suits your needs. Check out both cabin adventures on Instagram. We are camano.cabins.
The cabin is perched on a high bluff above the Saratoga Passage facing west to Whidbey Island and the Olympic Range. The beach lies below and is accessible via a short walk or drive along a paved road. It's a very low-key, quiet community and we are almost always the only people along the long, driftwood strewn beach. We often see eagles, otters, seals, herons, whales, and deer. Pack a picnic, head on down and enjoy the beauty of Puget Sound! Please note: this is not an appropriate rental for parties, loud music, late night outdoor noise, or pets.

The "Refugio" is a quintessential cabin retreat to escape the city and base camp to explore the wonders of Whidbey Island. We created this cabin from an existing shelter with the vision of refuge, peace and solstice for those who stay. It's a simple, off the grid space located in the back 40 of Landmark Farm. A peaceful pastoral setting, ideal for meditation, writing, relaxing and rejuvinating.
The Refugio, is an essential "glamping" camping space. You provide your camping comforts including your sleeping bag, sleeping pad and all gear needed to camp. We provide the peaceful space. There is a bucket composting toilet in back of the cabin. Other amenities include: full size futon bed (camp quality), wood stove, built-in wall table with stools, tea kettle, propane camp stove, mugs, tea, fire pit, camp chairs, hammock, solar lights, & wood, kindling, matches, yoga mat. Solar sun shower, rain barrel water collection system. Future plans are for an on demand propane outdoor shower by the well house. Stay tuned.
Cynthia’s home is located in Freeland, Washington, United States The Refugio cabin is located on Landmark Farm, situated in a quiet, rural neighborhood 1 mile from downtown Freeland. 5 acre property, pastoral views, surrounded by evergreen and alder trees. Mutiny Bay beach is 1/2 mile from the property. Our favorite for a sandy beach walk & spectacular sunsets.
Trouvez votre chemin ici!

Light-filed little refuge in the woods. Writers retreat, quiet womb like space; a place for solace and introspective. Deer, birds, nature watching, reading, calm, sweet- heart time. Near the House, also for rent by the night, but both very private.
During the COVED-19 virus time: I do accept bookings. I also have been self quarantining since March 2nd; my life usually is not that different :-) I wipe down all the door knobs and light switches and most of the things a guest may touch. I wash all linens in hot water. Bring your own cooked meals or deli-style food. Feel free to ask questions. Welcome to this charming, private cottage. Winter price is $79.- with some higher prices on Holidays & summer season:) ALL KIND PEOPLE WELCOME, no matter what religion-, sexual orientation- or country you are from! The Cottage is set near the Small Whidbey Island House, which is totally overgrown and hardly visible from the cottage. It is set among the trees on 3 acres on beautiful Whidbey Island, 2 miles from the town of Freeland (antique stores, grocery store, post office, etc., etc.), about 5 miles from my favorite beach, "Double Bluff", that holds stunning views of the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainier, and the Olympic Mountains with miles of walking. The cottage is a cozy, light- filled and airy space with its high ceiling and many windows and skylights. The stand up sleeping loft has an opening window and the skylight for a more spacious feel, as well as a comfy double size bed and a writing desk and chair. And because of the wire railing, it is not suited for children. Sorry for that. The galley kitchen is equipped with an under the counter fridge, a 2 burner gas cook top, a small microwave (700 watts instead of 1500 watts), a toaster, a coffee maker, coffee plunger, an electric tea kettle, all the dishes, many spices, and basic condiments. It has a granite and a butcher top counter. There is Italian tile on the bathroom floor as well as in the shower. There is plenty of closet space in case you decide to stay longer. You may lounge on the inviting window bench seat to take in the open forest view, or enjoy the WiFi to write those long- due letters on your computer. Have your morning breakfast under the porch and listen to the birds. Either way, this super quiet romantic place for two will leave you nurtured and nourished by its splendid green views and quiet nature surrounds. In 2001, my friend, who is a fine wood worker, and I started to build this wonderful space, using recycled materials as in Windows, doors, flooring and tile. We built it as a retreat for writers. We hand chafed the big posts and beams for a more rustic look. It took us 1.5 years, every day after our regular jobs to finish building it! I love how quiet it is here and how dark it gets at night because we are far away from city lights. Each neighbor has 3 to 5 acres of property and from mine I can see a little bit of the home of one of them. I like that it is only about 2 miles to Freeland where I can find the grocery store and post office as well as some stores for treasure hunting or a cafe to sip coffee in on a rainy day. And please: do read the house rules! That way there are no surprises for you. This is my third space posted on this web site. The other ones are: ~The smaller and lower priced space Tiny House / Caravan (http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/66010 ). ~The bigger House that has a queen size bed ( https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1742586). ~The DOG Friendly, Ocean & Mountain View Apartment (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6164305).
This is a private lane with properties of 3 to 5 acre parcels. Most folks living here are are over 50 years old and like their privacy. Bicycling is for the trained, since the island is rather hilly and in places has no road shoulder.

J'y retournerai certainement !!

Welcome to Eagle’s Perch. A private upper studio apartment with expansive water views on 3 sides! It has a newly remodeled private large shower/bathroom, new cozy kitchenette. Access to our property hot tub on request- we want to discuss cleaning protocol at this time before use. Our property boasts direct lagoon access and is located just across the street from the canal and the beach! It makes a perfect getaway for a couple, small family or for a solitary retreat.
Eagle's Perch is a wonderful studio with large picture windows to take in the water views on 3 sides. Who else can see a lagoon, canal and Puget Sound from their bed? It features an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, comfortable queen-sized bed, bistro dining set, a twin sized day bed and kitchenette with sink and hot plate/fridge/microwave/coffee and staples for simple cooking. We know how stressful these times are and take to heart that every surface, pillow, plate, door handle (even the soap dispenser is cleaned!) is properly cleaned and sanitized. We use seventh generation disinfectant spray and wipes (natural brand AND 99.9% effective). Even your door key pad and key has been cleaned. Keeping people healthy and offering them a respite in all this is important to me. Guests are welcome to lounge in the backyard (with lagoon access) or relax on their own porch. Guests may also access the private Lagoon Point beach directly across the street. Welcome! We are so delighted you have come to stay!
Lagoon Point is a quiet and beautiful community surrounded by lagoons, canal and water. It is very quiet here. We are not in the middle of a town, but we are an amazing gateway to other places on the Island as we are so centrally located. You can easily visit Greenbank Farm, the ferry to Port Townsend, Langley, Coupeville, Ebey's Landing, South Whidbey State Park - all within 15 minutes drive.
Bel endroit!

Welcome to The Hidden Haven! Our fabulous 2 Bed/2 Bath A-Frame retreat sleeps 4 comfortably. It is the perfect place to unwind! Stocked KITCHEN w/ breakfast bar for 2. QUEEN BEDROOM/LOFT w/small bathroom and BUNK BEDROOM with nearby bathroom w/washer/dryer. DECK w/seating for 8 and BBQ when weather allows.
The HIDDEN HAVEN makes for a wonderful retreat and is constantly undergoing upgrades and improvements! New flooring went in a few months ago - Pictures will be updated soon! The KITCHEN underwent a complete remodel in the summer of 2016. Owned by someone who loves to cook, you will find it is fully stocked with everything you need to make and serve a delicious meal. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas so you will never feel like you're stuck cooking while everyone else is having fun. The breakfast bar seats two. The DINING area is set for four, but (with advance notice) can accommodate your dinner guests with an extension that allows seating for up to eight. Placemats and tablecloths are available for your use and there are plenty of dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and candles to set a gorgeous table. The LIVING ROOM has plenty of seating, warm lighting, and fuzzy throws. It's a great place to gather. The wood stove keeps it cozy even on the coldest of days. Firewood is available for your use. Please note: there is no TV, but there are games, books, etc. to keep you entertained (and Wi-Fi too just in case!) The BOOK NOOK is a quiet and cozy spot for the young reader in your family. Tucked under the stairs, it was inspired by the desire to get our avid reader to hang out in the same room as the rest of us once in a while. The MASTER BEDROOM is in the loft and while open to the living room below, it provides an adequate amount of privacy due to the structural design. It has a Queen-sized bed with good linens that will provide a super night of rest. Drawer storage and space to hang your clothes is abundant. The loft is served by it's own small, but mighty bathroom. The DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM contains Twin L-shaped bunk-beds with good linens and sleeps two very comfortably. Beach chairs/towels, extra duvets, games, Lego and room for your things can be found in the large closet. Down the same hallway, you will find the larger bathroom. It contains a stackable washer/dryer. The DECK is a great place to hang out when the sun is shining. It's the perfect spot to relax while you enjoy your morning tea. The patio table can seat up to eight when the weather is right for a meal outdoors. Deer frequent the yard and it feels as though you are far from the rest of the world because the yard is enclosed by trees. Blackberries can be found all along the far side of the driveway. The LOCATION is a 10-15 minute drive from the Clinton Ferry, 15-20 minutes to Downtown Langley (the Whidbey Transit bus stops in front of the house), just 1.5 miles to Maxwelton Beach, and generally no more than 20 minutes to nearly everything South Whidbey has to offer.

This is a rural residential neighborhood surrounded by tall firs and the neighbor's private woods in back. Next door to the north is a 17 acre farm with its original barn and 1930's house. Across the street is a housing development but the view of the Sound and the Olympics is over their rooftops.

Come experience our quaint little town of Langley, only 3 miles from The Hayloft. Our evenings are chilly so the little fireplace stove can keep you cozy with ambiance so romantic and inviting. Experience freshly ironed sheets - extra soft, with a pleasant scent. I offer my homemade baked goods and a savory casserole delivered to the loft that you may enjoy at your leisure. Beautiful hiking trails are accessible from our property that wonder through Saratoga Woods. Come Enjoy!
The loft was built in 2010 as a guest residence above our wood working studio on the main floor. (My husband operates it mid morning to late afternoon.) We both, are many times outside working on landscaping, etc. The room is 440 square feet with a queen bed and full bath with jetted tub and shower combination. The kitchenette is complete with a microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, under the counter refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and countertop toaster oven, but does not have a range or stove. I enjoy providing a complimentary home cooked breakfast in the loft for my guests with homemade baked goods and savory breakfast casseroles. I cannot, however, accommodate special diets. It is a romantic and cozy setting with a gas log fireplace for chilly nights and ambiance. Extra thought is given to comfort details including fresh flowers, bath amenities, and ironed linens. We ask our guests to please pop in briefly at our house when they arrive. We enjoy meeting our guests and sharing a glass of wine if they wish. And we also need to point out a few pertinent details about the loft which will make their stay more enjoyable. A MUTUAL AMBITION My husband and I have always loved the details of historic 17th and 18th century architecture. A carriage house with the upstairs hayloft appearance seemed like the perfect structure to live in while we were building the main house. We have a passion for history as well, and so it became the best of both interests. It was an invitation into featuring many of the components of this era. Historical colors were researched, and plans were drawn to replicate closely a period carriage house. We excavated the property ourselves, even digging the foundation by hand. All of the building structure was done by ourselves including the awning windows, with also some assistance from our children. It has a lighted cupola with a horse and buggy weathervane that gives it a particularly charming look. We added a jetted tub - not exactly the correct time period, but a luxury I always wanted. The interior and exterior lighting are exact replicas of New England lanterns, chandeliers and sconces. Upon completion of the main house, we thought that perhaps the carriage house hayloft area might be an attractive space for an Airbnb. I love textiles, color, and attention to details. I have enjoyed furnishing "The Hayloft" to make it a welcoming, and a comfortable space. It is complete with ironed linens, kitchen necessities, bath amenities, and a warm, romantic, propane fireplace. Once the space had the look I wanted, I decided to add breakfast for my guests. Having been raised on a fruit farm, I loved to make many fruit baked goods from scratch. I have also added a savory quiche or casserole, along with extra fruit and snacks. I place the breakfast items in the refrigerator the day before forthe guests to warm up and eat at their leisure. Changing the look of the loft with the passing seasons is a lot of fun. Fall and all the holidays gives me a chance to be creative and add my own special touches of whimsey. My husband kids me about all the tubs of holiday paraphernalia I have stored! And speaking of my husband, Jamie... He is the mastermind of the whole project. His building and furniture making skills, design, ideas and attention to detail has made this whole project come together. I am forever grateful for his support and loving patience. While respecting our guest's privacy, we enjoy meeting people and offering a glass of wine when they arrive. Many times they stay and chat. Once, a "just married" couple were so busy at the reception, they forgot to eat and the restaurants were closed, so I set two extra place settings at our table for dinner. The kind of wonderful guests that have stayed with us has made being hosts rewarding and fun. I hope you come and stay the Hayloft. We don't think you will be disappointed!
The neighborhood is rural and quiet, with few neighbors, and we are adjacent to the Saratoga Woods Trail system.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood of second beach homes with weekenders and some full time islander residences. Walking distance to town and local beach park with dock, but wild enough for wildlife sightings. Usually the houses around us are empty second homes. Recommend Gordon's for fine dining, Timbuktu for coffee and gluten free and vegan food, Freehand Cafe for diner style food and local breakfast, and Charmer's Bistro for lunch and light suppers. Joe's Woodfired Pizza, China City for chinese with a sports bar.

This is a getaway for those who wish to reset and relax while enjoying all that Whidbey Island has to offer. Sip on local drip coffee while gazing at 180 degree views of Mt Baker, the Cascades Mountain Range and Holmes Harbor frequented by Grey Whales. Walk to the Farm. Private beach access via a lush green trail
Covid 19 Update: Along with our already stringent cleanings, we have added an EPA approved disinfectant wipe down of all surfaces between guests. The cottage offers wifi and a smart TV preloaded with Netflix, hulu etc.. Feel free to use the washer and dryer as needed. Other amenities include a brand new kitchen featuring a microwave, fridge icemaker and filtered water, stove, and dishwasher. Waterfront is accessed using a trail at the bottom of the property which leads to a ladder to the beach (used by the more adventurous guests) No other homes have beach access for hundreds of yards in either direction. (I do permit both of my lovely neighbors to use the trail as well.)
The neighborhood is made up of gorgeous homes on 2-3 acre parcels. Greenbank Farms is walking distance, and also an Alpaca farm. Whidbey Pies Café, Molka Xete Mexican restaurant, and the Greenbank pantry and deli are all within a mile of the home. There are tons of mussels and oysters on the beach, and some of the best crabbing occurs directly in front of the home. Bald Eagles, Seals, and whales frequent the area.

I think you’ll be glad you came;-) Greg There are a number of things to like about the Seastar! The wood beams with cedar washed ceiling, recycled beach wood farm table, warm stove and cool deck, comfortable beds with the OPTION of queen or two twin beds in 2nd bedroom (your choice:-)stocked kitchen, comfy front room w cable and wifi! Margi and Jeff welcome you to our little corner of the Pacific NW. We offer our ‘cottage’, a semi-detached studio unit, providing a queen size bed, large step-in shower bath, private deck with beautiful views of Deception Passage and Cornet Bay. A welcome basket with muffins, fruit and teas can be enjoyed with your freshly brewed coffee.
Our little cottage has welcomed friends for several years. Separate from the main house, it has its own deck, comcast cable and wifi, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator.
We chose this neighborhood because of the wonderful views, park trail access directly from the house and neighborhood safety. Nothing happens here!

Light-filed refuge in the woods. Writers retreat, quiet womb like space; a place for solace and introspective. Deer, birds, nature watching, reading, calm, sweet- heart time. Near the Cottage, also for rent by the night, but both very private.
During the COVED-19 virus time: I do accept bookings. I also have been self quarantining March 2nd; my life usually is not that different :-) I wipe down all the door knobs and light switches and most of the things a guest may touch. Bring your own cooked meals or deli-style food. I wash all linens in hot water. Feel free to ask questions. Welcome to this Bohemian Island House! ALL KIND PEOPLE WELCOME, no matter what religion-, sexual orientation- or country you are from! Winter price is $89.- with some higher prices on Holidays & summer season:) The Home is set near the Cottage. THINK HYGGE! The Small House is a cozy, light- filled and airy space with its many windows and skylights. It is meant to be an adult getaway. The bedroom has opening windows and a skylight over the bed for a more spacious feel and to look at the stars; it has a feeling of sleeping in a tree house. It has a comfy, queen size bed, a writing desk and chair. There is plenty of closet space in case you decide to stay longer. The regular sized kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, a gas range, a toaster oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, an electric tea kettle, all the dishes and basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee). It has a granite and a butcher top counter. There is colorful Italian tile in the shower and Ubatuba (dark green with gold flecks) granite on the bathroom floor. In the living room, you may lounge on the inviting 16 foot window bench seat to take in the open forest view through the 13' window, or enjoy the WiFi to write those long- due letters on your computer. Have your morning breakfast in the sun room or on the spacious deck and listen to the birds. This House is for 2 people only that are sharing the queen size bed, even though you may think someone can sleep on the couch, I do not allow it. Either way, this super quiet romantic place for two will leave you nurtured and nourished by its splendid green views and quiet nature surrounds. I love how quiet it is here, and how dark it gets at night because we are far away from city lights. Each neighbor has 3 to 5 acres of property, and from mine I can see a little bit of the home of one of them. I like that it is only about 2 miles to Freeland where I can find the grocery store and post office as well as some stores for treasure hunting or a cafe to sip coffee in on a rainy day. Side Story: In August of 1996, I found this lovely property, that before me was owned by Jim, a literal hermit. Jim hand dug the 300' drive way, he build the Sears kit home, he knew the deer by generation, and he never cut a tree; he burned presto logs. Jim lived there from 1963 until his death in 1995. Since then, I have brought in power and telephone, added the bedroom and sun room as well as the decks, totally re-did the inside of this home, and created several gardens. I shall always be grateful to Jim for having set up this property in such a wonderful way. (And please: do read the house rules! That way there are no surprises for you.) Waterfront, steps to the beach. Sleeps 2 - or 4 if you have children. A rustic cabin, w/ everything you need for a sweet getaway: queen bed in loft, double futon in living space, propane cook stove, BBQ. Pets are $25/nite. Please list pets under "children" for billing. Not an B&B.
Staying at The Cabin is like going back in time and doing gourmet camping. The cabin is in a quiet space in the woods - there are neighbors, but they are usually not home. There's miles and miles of beaches, the great seaside town of La Conner to visit with events going on all year long. The bay itself brings in eagles, osprey, king fishers, woodpeckers, and seals. Nature surrounds the cabin and just five minutes away La Conner offers first class restaurants offering local produce, seafood and landfood. Join La Conner locals for Art's Alive, the Tulip Festival, the Poetry festival, boat parade and car shows. Several antique stores line the sidewalks as well as the Museum of NW Art, the Quilt Museum and the Historical Museum. And don't miss the annual Native American canoe races in June.
Rural neighborhood, minutes from downtown La Conner. This is a leash-law neighborhold. Do not leave pets unattended.

Sandy Point Cottage is located 1.5 mi. from historic downtown Langley on South Whidbey Island. It is surrounded on two sides by a 5 acre holly orchard. There is a beautiful 1 mi. loop walk from the cottage down Wilkenson Rd. with spectacular views of the water and the Cascade Mountains. The cottage has its own private entrance, comfortable attractive rooms and a back patio with a ceramic fire pit. There is a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee pot and toaster oven but not a full kitchen.
The cottage consists of a bedroom and living room. There is queen size bed in the bedroom and flat screen TV with a library of DVD’s. The two rooms are separated by the small bathroom that has sliding pocket doors at both ends. The shower is small, 29x30, and some people may find it uncomfortable. A cot is available for small children so the child can sleep in the main bedroom with you. There is an outdoor patio to enjoy in pleasant weather. There is NOT a full kitchen but there is a toaster oven, small refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee pot and Hot Shot for making tea. The only sink is in the bathroom There is locally roasted coffee, a selection of teas and hot chocolate, and various snack items. There is a Dyson HEPA air filter which filters 99% of allergens to insure clean and healthy air.
The neighborhood is quite rural. The Salish Sea (Puget Sound) is one block away and the public access trail to the beach is about three blocks away.

The Writer's Refuge offers solitude to writers and other creatives who need to get away to focus on their work. Tucked into the woods, it’s a cozy place to write—especially when rain patters on the metal roof and a fire crackles in the wood stove.
The Writer's Refuge is a place where writers and other creatives can escape the distractions of everyday life and devote themselves fully to their work. This means single occupancy and the deliberate absence of amenities such as a television and DVD player. It also means the presence of supportive technologies such as Wi-Fi and a printer. The cabin looks like it sprouted out of the forest that surrounds it. Although it's 90 square feet bigger than Thoreau’s cabin on Walden Pond, it's small enough to hold you close and keep you focused on your writing. You'll be productive at the drop-front desk, which features Wi-Fi, a printer, and some office supplies; enjoy reading in the recliner by the warmth of a fire in the wood stove, nourish yourself well in the fully-equipped kitchen; and enjoy listening to the birds while writing in the Adirondack chair on the screened porch. For our coffee drinkers, we provide a Mr. Coffee brewer, filters and coffee grinder. You can bring your favorite beans and grind them fresh.
Nestled between the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and surrounded by the water of the Puget Sound, Whidbey Island offers inspiration to all kinds of artists who make it their home. The Foxglove Cabin is located on the south end of the Island, which is an artists community.
  • Bel endroit!
