Randonnée avec des chèvres
A Ten Apple Farm goat hike is a two hour recreational and educational goat experience. You'll meet your hosts (and our herd of Alpine dairy goats), and hear about their 16 years of experience with goats and living on a small family farm. Once we've met the goats and the many other animals residents of the farm, we’ll set off on a hike through the Ten Apple Farm woods with the goats and Philip our sheep! The hike consists of an approximately one and a half mile loop trail through our woods on lightly groomed trails. Along the way we’ll talk about goats as pack animals, what they eat, and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. There's lots of time for interacting with the goats, asking questions, or just soaking in the Maine woods and these adorable, fun animals. We end the experience with fresh goat milk and homemade cookies! Please note: Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. 5 and 6 year olds should plan to hold a parent's hand during the hike. (Children under 4 must be carried). Other things to note: The hike is not strenuous, but there is a little bit of steep terrain in 2 spots. We have rope railings on the trail to assist with getting up and down in those spots, but guests who have bad knees, hips, or other difficulties with uneven or steep terrain should be aware.

Croisière privée au coucher du soleil avec cocktail et huîtres
Relax and unwind with family and friends, and bring your favorite drink on board as we cruise around the rugged islands and rocky shoreline of Casco Bay for your very own Private Sunset Cruise. We start with a short boat ride over to a nature preserve island, anchor up in a quiet tidal estuary where there are usually lots of seals and eagles around. For groups who want a more interactive experience, I can describe our oyster reef restoration project while you get ‘hands on’ learning how to shuck oysters from our farm. For people who want to chill out and catch up with their group instead, I will happily shuck oysters and shake up our homemade rum cocktail while you chat amongst yourselves and enjoy the tranquility. Once everyone has a drink in hand we will hoist the anchor and head out into Casco Bay for the westerly sunset. You can listen to music on my boat’s soundsystem, or enjoy nature’s soundtrack. Excursion interactive adaptée aux enfants à la ferme ostréicole
Bring the family on board for a private boat trip to our oyster farm to assist in fieldwork for our shellfish reef restoration project. We start with a cruise out of the harbor to jig up some small fish which we use as bait in our traps. (If the seas are too rough for fishing, we will bring some with us or ask a friendly lobsterman along the way.) Next we head through a quiet inlet to a nature preserve estuary where we will haul up our crab trap to see what we have caught. After learning about the different species of crabs in Maine, we will release the native crabs back into the water, and remove the invasive crabs. I will then raft up to our floating dock at our oyster farm, where we can shuck, eat, and learn about oysters fresh out of the water! This experience is suitable for aspiring marine biologists of all ages. Profits from these trips go to support The Basin Oyster Project. I only host private groups and the total price including all fees is $300, regardless of the group size up to 6 max.

Guérison avec une séance de peinture
A deeply healing, thrilling experience. On the day of your portrait session, you'll be guided up to my third floor apartment to my painting studio which is located in a private section of my home. In a room full of art and plants, over tea or bubbly we'll chat what led you to book this experience, the kind of the art you want to make, and anything else you want me to know. Next, you'll have the opportunity to choose to stay dressed or change into a robe, before being guided through a short breathing exercise to get grounded in your body before we start. The painting process is broken up into two steps: 1. You’ll be led through a few shorts poses personalized to you and your intention. I'll sketch each one while we chat, laugh or listen to your favorite album. When we're finished, you’ll choose your favorite sketch to become a painting. 2. Next, you go back into posing while I develop your painting -- you'll get to watch, as your painting comes together, and offer any feedback or requests. You’ll leave feeling wildly alive, affirmed in your skin, and amazed at what you're capable of. Your painting will ship within a week of the experience after it's been completed, sealed and matted. It ships with insurance coverage in a custom box, ready to frame and hang on your wall -- a reminder you are whole and worthy exactly as you are. Feel free to reach out with questions!
