The old town is UNESCO Heritage.
You will enjoy the peculiar colonial style of the small streets, the cathedral of Santa Ana and his square, the House were Columbus lived, the Canarian Museum of the aboriginal and the Tapas Nights on Thursday. Definitely a must of your holiday.

One of my favourite places. Just 10-20 minutes out of the city by car or public transport, you can discover the immense variety of sub-tropical plants and trees. You will need good 2 hourse to walk all the garden through.

This XV century castle houses Martin Chirino Foundation is a great combination of modern sculpture and old building. There is a permanent exhibition of Martin Chirinos 25 iron works from all his creative periods. In the surrounding park there is a lovely outside cafè were you can relax while children play safely.
