One of my favourite places. Just 10-20 minutes out of the city by car or public transport, you can discover the immense variety of sub-tropical plants and trees. You will need good 2 hourse to walk all the garden through.

A MUST MUST SEE. The 1800's place to be. Back when the ocean around Las Palmas was a stinky industrial wasteland and toilet here was where you came to be seen. Has one of the best botanical collections in the world. And its FREE and has public washrooms. HINT: Travel to Santa Catalina park and take local or global inter-island bus close to gates. Cliff walks in the park are dangerous and lack railings or security but are fun. Lovely views throughout.
