Favorite picnic hike. On West Saanich Rd, stop at the Red Barn Market for a wrap and snacks. They are famous for their giant wraps and sandwiches. Hike down and lunch on a grass covered rocky point overlooking the inlet. (Ask us how you can make it a loop hike with a waterfall on the way down). Also close by is Durrance lake... one of the best swimming lakes around.
