You must get a croffin here. It's a mix of a croissant and a muffin shape. The filling changes daily. My favorite so far is the passion flower filling. There is always a line, so be early. Small place, only 2 crates to sit on, they only serve drip coffee & pastries. The best!

Awesome, you can spend a full day here. So much to see. There is a rainforest with real butterflies and tropical birds, a white crocodile, many fish you see swimming below and above you. An earth quake simulator. Outdoors restaurant is good quality. The rooftop has a garden which insulates the building.

You can drive through Mount Tamalpais park to Point Reyes the whole route 1 is exceptionally beautifully. With Eucalyptus trees, lots of wild life and quaint little towns. If you drive further up North you end up at Bodega Bay, Jenner, both very sweet and rough wild beauty. The vista of the end point light house is stunning, it's worth the drive.

The best beach. Often there is nobody there. A long stretch of beach, lots of surfers, spotting whales, pelicans, dolphins. Locals hang out here around fire pits. Be careful with swimming, the currents are strong and the water is very cold. But dipping feet is great. From there you can directly drive into the West side of the Golden Gate Park
