Sit out on one of the two big screened-in porches, go for a swim in the shallow brackish (mostly fresh) water, relax in our hot tub, sweat in the sauna, or throw one of our crab pots in the water and enjoy the spoils of the waters off the Potomac River. Our house is situated off the Potomac on Hull Creek, which means the water is nice and shallow for little ones to play, and there are plenty of crabs to be caught!

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Reconnect with nature and sway with the trees in this rustic treehouse nestled away in the woods with a gorgeous view of Hungar's creek. Enjoy the view from the front porch or while relaxing around the fire pit. Visit the adorable beach town of Cape Charles, complete with a beautiful beach, brewery, distillery and plenty of restaurant options, or stop by the nearby vineyard for some local wine. Usage of dock, kayaks, grill, and fire pit all included. Beach towels and cooler also provided.

Historic St. Mary's City, MD

1,000 square foot two-bedroom, one bath waterfront apartment features separate entrance and a screened-in porch overlooking the St. Mary’s River. Property has a large dock and a small private beach. Jellyfish, crabs, and oysters make swimming challenging, although many swim off the dock in the deeper water. No Diving! Dogs are welcome. We just ask that they be on a leash. The apartment is attached to part of the house where we reside, although it is sealed off and nothing is shared.

Living on Island Time

Relax with the whole family and spend life on Island Time. Full bar set up with ice maker and wine refrigerator. Private pier, paddle boards and firepit. Unwind on St Goerge Island or head out to one of the local eateries for some southern Maryland faire. Inside you have 2 spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms. A massive island for cooking, card playing or just great conversations with endless views. Crabbing, fishing. The Neighbors have 2 Great Danes and a cat that you may see occasionally

Nestled next to historic St Mary's City and a lovely state park, your newly renovated Lucas Cove Beach home awaits you with your own private sandy beach and pier with vast views of the water, new salt water hot tub steps away from the beach, four beautifully furnished bedrooms with Casper mattresses, an upstairs deck with Adirondack chairs to take in the water views and amazing sunrises while sipping a beverage or just relaxing, high speed Wi-Fi. Rumbley Cottage, a custom-built home, provides a quiet stay in nature. Views from all windows. Look out at the mouth of the Manokin River at Tangier Sound on one side; wetlands on the other side. NO CLEANING OR PET FEE. Rumbley Cottage is enjoyed year- round with a great fireplace. WE PROVIDE THE FIREWOOD AND STARTERS. Many amenities including Molton Brown toiletries, kayaks, SPBs, bikes, beach equipment; well-stocked kitchen.

“Cabana by the Bay”-tiny home on a pier!

This tiny home is a newly renovated cabana sitting on a pier. Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing under you! When the tide is not too high there is a small beach. Bikes are available and are stored directly across the street. Go crabbing or fishing off the pier and walk to one of the many nearby restaurants. Check out the summer concert series at the Calvert Marine Museum.
