Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. PLEASE let me know in advance if you will need the sofabed set up.

Friendly, Cozy Farmhouse on Idyllic Family Farm

Located on our family farm—note the name of the road!—we've recently renovated the farmhouse to add modern amenities and style to its original charm. Any of the many large windows affords a view of the farm's pastures, pond, apple trees, and hills. Prince Gallitzin State Park is less than five minutes down the road. The wrap-around porch offers a shady place to relax or even enjoy a meal outside. And, though the space is all your own, we live right across the yard should you need anything.

The cabin is located only 20 miles from Penn State University, making it the ideal place to stay while attending events at University Park. Nestled between Bald Eagle State Park and Black Moshannon State Park, this is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the great outdoors. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
