Quiet, small rustic country log cabin "The Barn"

Ideal for solo travelers or work retreats, this humble semi–off-grid hideaway offers privacy, leafy views, and the gentle company of birds, wallabies, and koalas. Start your mornings with birdsong, spend quiet days creating or reflecting, and unwind by the fire pit under the stars. Just minutes from Samford Village. Ideal to rejuvenate and recharge. Not suitable for infants or children of any age.

Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Off Grid - Glamping cabin

The Off Grid Sunset Cottage is in an elevated position with beautiful views of the south and west and is a great spot for watching sunsets. The cottage is insulated and has a comfortable double bed, fire pit, camp stove and access to external showers and toilet 80m from cabin. Sunflowers are available through the warmer months as the seasons allow. (Next crop not expected until October 2025). Linen is supplied. May's

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. May's is one of two fully self-contained apartments within this building. Each apartment has it's own entrance and you can enjoy your exclusive outside stone bath, relax in front of the indoor fireplace, cuddle up on the king-sized bed or veg out in the hammock. This beautiful bushland property has high-tide access to Moreton Bay, is 10 minutes drive from Straddie's beaches and 15 minutes from Brown Lake. You'll feel like you're in another world.

Anstead Acres is a horse property set on 20 acres of beautiful country in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. We are a horse friendly property shared with chooks, cows, and our agistment community. 35mins to CBD Note: due to the recent cyclone Alfred the riverbank access is damaged and is not accessible at this time.
